No actual proof it was posted on the official brazillian FB page just a screenshot of a FB page with that name.
Also whether or not it happens it means nothing because the people who play classic don’t enjoy retail so maybe 5% will try retail because of the boost but it wont affect either game so why even care about it.
From what i understand the translation was wonky. You get BfA which includes a 110 boost. I don’t think you het anything of you already have BfA.
How about not inventing statistics?

They realised there aren’t any players to boost to 110 so they decided against it.
If and when i reach lvl 60 in Classic i’ll make a new lvl 1 in Classic… not a new lvl 110 in Retail.
That would be like making a huge tasty cake and put a turd on top instead of a cherry.

Most of us aren’t going to take the bait anyway. The design of WOD was a nightmare and from Legion on wards Blizz just started copy and pasting again from other MMO’s, mainly guild wars 2.
WOW will only succeed when it goes back to its roots which is all about in depth talent builds, complex character mechanics, complex game mechanics and most importantly 40 player raids that require a huge amount of social effort by the players.
Blizz has tried to make WOW a casual game and in doing so has alienated its core players.
There are more interesting MMO’s out there in my opinion. Elder Scrolls Online is unique and has a good community. EvE online is still going strong and has indepth gameplay and Final Fantasy has a lot of ex WOW players.
WOW has became too cookie cutter in my opinion but we shouldn’t dwell over it. Just abandon it and spend our time and effort improving a game that captures our imaginations.
Nah if you enjoy both then great but I dont see the straight minded classic players using the 110 boosts if they even come out.

What do you mean exactly by game mechanics? If you mean things like dungeon and raid encounters then retail wow is far more complex than classic
Rotationally too retail wow is a lot more complex for the most part with a much higher APM and a lot more abilities built into the core damage dealing or healing rotation. Classic does have a lot more cool spells though, that’s for sure. For example on my 60 shaman I have dispel poison, dispel disease, poison cleansing totem and disease cleansing totem compared to retail wow’s one single decurse button
I agree with you on the talent points though, it makes your character feel more unique and makes every level meaningful
lol? Im not even whining about the BFA boosts if you actually read the general/trade chats you can see people have a hatred for retail. I don’t I personally wish it was better but you have this weird issue with people posting anything.

It seems more likely there was some confusion over the 15th anniversary giving away a 110 boost to people on accounts without subs.
