I’m going crazy, as the Void Focus is not dropping. I did all the intro quests and now have the N’Zoth Assaults enabled. Guides seem to say Recipe: Void Focus drops from Faceless, K’thir, Aqir, and Cultists mobs that worship N’Zoth in the assault, however, there are NONE of these mobs during the assault in Uldum.
What am I doing wrong? Do I need to finish the Black Empire Campaign first?
I’ve also checked the Chamber of the Heath and there’s no forge behind Wrathion.
I hadn’t played in BfA, so besides doing the intro to unlock Nazjatar and learn crafting, and doing whatever I needed to do to enable assaults, I haven’t done anything. The things called “Visions” are also not enabled.
You shouldn’t need to complete said campaign, but the Void Focus drop is reportedly bugged. I got my recipe on this char during BfA doing my first assault, so it was intended to be easily obtained.
I just went on my druid and learned BfA engineering, went to uldum and killed the first 10 acolytes of nzoth located just outside the daily hub and got the recipe, I do have visions etc unlocked though
Bear in mind that you only can ONCE drop the void focus recipe. If you learn it and eventually unlearn the proffession, you will have to live with the inability to relearn the recipe as it will not drop again.
Yes, the void focus will persist. But its the recipe itself, it cannot be reaquired if you change proffessions.
And if you take a second proffession that can contain it, -after- learning the void focus recipe, it will ever stay unlearned in the list due to inability to reaquire it.
