I prefered the way gearing was back then and titan forging gear is now pretty much handed on a plate and i dont think that should be the case going up in item level did feel like an achievment and you could feel your character getting stronger i miss that aspect of it.
Also even though classes had been pruned classes did feel unique because they all has strengths and weaknesses and brought something different nowadays all classes kinda have the same kit and can do the same things.

I wish I had the luxury to work from home, but in my case i had to go to my workplace and deal with all kinds of precaution that made work even harder (i do not work in sanity)

I for was did not feel Covid had any part in liking Bfa.It was good on its own.

It said Covid didn’t strike until Shadowlands launch (factually incorrect) and then it said it depends on the country. Which country did it not strike until Shadowlands launch in?

I played Classic at the time so I have no idea how covid impacted the tail end of BfA. Lockdowns started happening around late March, early April 2020 iirc. It did affect Classic, I do know that

It was ok.
Dungeons were fun. Azerite necklace powers were fun. For me, enhancement shaman was better than this.
Bad:
Azerite armor powers. Corruption (items). Horrific vision. Limitied time ah mount.
Not necessarily.
It was the bad bits of Legion (AP grind, rng gear, emissaries et al).
Without the Good bits of Legion, decent Lore - story and characters, Order Halls, artifacts (lorewise rather than systemically).
It wasn’t any worse than it is now.
You have to be an engineer to play the game.

here are my reasons
bfa had worst expansion start of every expansion: it started with the destruction of my favorite zones, night elf zones and tirisfal.
bfa had worst pvp of all expansions. pvp equip in some bfa seasons was 100 ilvl below pve equip in pvp and pve players made with pve equip 20 times heal/dps like pvp players in pvp and have 3 times hp than pvp players. other seasons have no pvp equip. 1 season had only pvp equip for only 0,5% top arena players. so bfa had worst pvp from all expansions.
bfa have the ugliest zones from all wow zones. nasmir and zuldazar are ugliest zones from wow.
bfa had the most boring grind from all wow expansions. 1 world quest in bfa gives 75 rep. in legion it was 150 at least, so there are more reputation grind in bfa than in all other expansions. also the bfa amulet grind, the essence grind, the essence upgrade grind, the cape upgrade grind were very boring in bfa.
so for me bfa is the worst ive ever seen in wow.
