I’ve seen speculation it’s for the mage tower, but couldn’t they just change it for that content if it was such an issue.

Excuse my question, but where are these druids, i mean the balance ones? Every time there is a boomy in the party, they do tank damage and forget about asking them to bres…at least hunters play much better than this

There is no compliment to be given, the class play around incarnation and pull accordingly.
Other tanks have a different approach, that does not make them crap.
Ret Pala have 6 sec ranged stun and blind that is not broken by holy damage for big CC burst window.
If you thing that MM any good just check out how many you find on top 1000 leaderboard than compare the number to amounth of Rets there.

In Legion binding shot was a stun. So it make no sense.

You missing the point: if your tools have their shortcomings it is still possible that others have it much worse. Which is easily proven by numbers btw.

Well for me comparison of the speck that sees plenty of play in AGC and have good representation on arena ledder to a speck that have neither seems a little bit odd.
But each to their own I guess.

You do realise that all tanks can tank 3-4 packs in m+ during CD window? I’ve seen DHs pulling 5 packs in metas, I’ve seen prot palas just casually pulling 3 packs without their HP batr moving, I’ve seen monks pulling crazy, I’ve seen DK’s doing tripple packs in Mists.
It’s the player who does these pulls, not the specs.
Well you need group coordination for vent boomy to shine in AoE, if your tank only pulls 1-2 packs max - your boomy will sit below 7k dps. If your tank can handle to tank 4 packs every 3mins, boomy will be sitting at 40-60k dps during these pulls.
Plus boomie are single-target Gods.
Ah, okay, but, the average pug boomie can’t play well, imo.
These are some coordinated groups where boomie isn’t played, because it’s the fotm class and people actually know the class. Cant be seen on the pug scene though 
It’s not a matter of the boomie player, it’s the people around you.
It’s the same as the fire mage in late bfa, everyone picked fire mage and then rarely people were playing around their combustion.

I now remembered, the only pug boomie i saw was good, was some streamer- druid for life or sth like that. Ya, this boy plays very good, even though he isn’t the fotm venthyr boomie, he knows how to play, that’s it. I like his strems, also, dont get me wrong i have nothing against the class, i am against all this mdi, fotm thing that makes the class seem garbo in a non coordinated pug.
It’s not a matter of coordinated groups, is people that sucks at group composition.
If you pick classes that plays around a 3 Min clock you have to respect that. It’s not MDI or meta, it’s common sense.
If I have 30+ seconds of God mode dps, you don’t want to pull only 3 mobs during that.
Its the same for Guardian Druid, 30 s godmode tanking every 3min so you should have big cds for that as a dps.
Again, this have nothing to do with MDI, those just show an optimal usage of that, but it is something everyone should do.

I could have pulled literally any other class up as an example and you would have used the same argument: “why not X or Y”. Which means no matter what I would have said, you would have remained, for the lack of a better word: “unpleased”.

If they were so OP the first few pages of the leaderboard would look like BFA season 4 or S2. Go look at first few pages of BFA S4 and 2 and then compare it to this season and then come back.
But they are not, the highest tank is doing 29 and is Andybrew with Paladin, all the other top tanks are doing 28, which to me seems that they are all on the same level of balance since they are able to compete at same level.
The fact that Druid plays around a big cd don’t mean they are OP.
Their toolkit is more simple to use and thus allow you to focus on what’s happening more. That’s why their are OP to you?
