So black lotus is now 200g on my server, this servers pop is recorded by the community to be around 6000 people. Why has there been nothing done to improve the availability of this resource???
I feel like the best option for me would be to create a second WoW account and use a bot in this new account to farm gold for me all day while I work at my day job. Then I can launder the bottled gold to my main account. I have heard rumours that many people in the top end guilds are already doing this.
Why is it that breaking the terms of service is seems like a good option to be able to access rare herbs?? Why is nothing being done to increase black lotus availability?
Something needs to be done, currently browsing websites online you can find people selling stacks of black lotus for real world currencies.

As for the websites i reported to blizz 3 of them, even found their IP adress and server from where they are hosting and they did nothing. 2 months since my first report.
I guess you should make site too and try to sell some golds.
I guess they will maybe react when there is half milion sites up there
How can leveling another character to 60 just to aoe farm dungeons abusing npc pathing be an acceptable method for playing income?? Some of us dont have time to level another character… this is bad game design and we as a community should not be rolling over an accepting this, we got them to change the devilsaur spawn rates, theres no reason they can do the same for black lotus
It’s real simple, the real version of world of warcraft doesn’t care about your life. People destroy themselves for this. If you want to be casual, be casual. It’s our game.
This isint even about being casual, in vanilla you could easily farm black lotus, in classic you need to multi box a bunch of low lvl spotters in black lotus zones or level a mage alt to 60 and use that character to aoe farm in DME or Maraudon for 100s of gold. Or you can create a second account stick a bot on it and have that farm mobs all day for you. Genuine toxic game design
People want to take shortcuts in real life too, for wealth etc. Your instinct to be immoral is from how much you value this game. I don’t know what to tell you, it’s not my fault you have a job.

I am not blaming you but saying people multiboxing accounts to farm a specific herb on cool down is how the game is meant to be makes no sense ? Why would they change the spawn rates of devilsaur if that’s the case.
So just because the lotus scarcity wasnt as heavily predicted as the devilsaur scarcity was we all have to suffer cmon your argument blows here. There is no reason why one resource should have its spawn rates adjusted and another shouldnt when the reason they are both scare is due to an increase population and increased demand for the item.
Leveling a character to farm gold is pretty much what healers and tanks had to do until dual spec was introduced if you didnt want to respec every time you wanted to grind some gold.
How this could be shocking news to anyone after 15 years is beyond me.
The only issue with it, is the ghost camping.
They should just fix this by prevent people to see plants while being ghost and/or make black lotus’s spawn random.
So you want to join a guild hardcore enough to demand flasks, but you can’t because you’re not hardcore enough to get the flasks?
Yes, something clearly needs to be done. I to find it unacceptable whenever someone places any sort of requirement that I’m not willing to meet on something that I feel entitled to do.

farmers/nolifers does sell gold, sells rare things, sells raid items…etc
and no matter what? I don’t think that any solution will fix your problem, so the only way to deal with it? is to have some guild herbalists arrangement and farm Black lotus in 1arena together by camping the spot…OR don’t use flask or maybe quit the game if it bothers you so much.
