Black Lotus Ghost Camping

This is a problem, and it is an abuse of something that was not intended. On low pop servers every lotus spawn is being camped either by lv 1s or one person with 8 accounts both horde and alliance side characters. All spawns of lotus being watched 24/7 on low pop servers just waiting for someone to res and take. Unfortunately, they do this on low pop as there is not many people to contest. I have no problem with character camping spots, but having the ghost sit there and watch for spawn across every spawn point on the map is unfair and should be fixed.

Teleport ghosts back to graveyard after 10 min. DISABLE lv 1 ghosts being able to be in high level zones, or disable the ability to see herbs when in ghost form will easily solve this issue. But this is an aspect of the game that is clearly being abused.

Edit: ALSO there is absolutely no reason a lv 1 ghost can see stealthed characters of the opposite faction at their bodies. While the level 60 gold runners are running to the lotus spawn locations after seeing them through the lv 1 ghosts, they can in their downtime come and kill you ( you == rogue or druid ) being stealthed by the spawn because a level 1 ghost can see exactly where you are.

“But but multiboxing not an advantage, you can group up and get same benefits…” ohwait you dont.

Except it is not entirely the multiboxing. The problem is that the entire process seems to be completely automated. So, botting. And no player can beat the reaction speed of a machine.

And unlike legit multiboxers, those botters would do it anyway, even if it would be against all the rules and agreements. They have multiple devices anyway, they probably earn a lot of money, they just don’t care.

It’s not multi boxing. It’s straight up botting. Same as the strat bots.

“disable the ability to see herbs as ghost” would be an option. I remember doing a pickup quest in ungoro the other day. The box was not shown to loot when I was there as ghost but was there as nonghost. I dont understand how they didnt do that with herbs already. And yes I died in the 100 yard range.

Actually on Judgment it literally is a group or office of real people that are watching tv / second monitor to see if lotus spawns IN EVERY ZONE 24/7. They come in shifts to play all the toons ( 10 of them ) all the time in every zone gathering every lotus that spawns. ALL of the characters have goblin rocket helmet and all of them are dead as ghosts at every spawn and wait to res once they see it in their assigned area. All characters level 56+

It is in some cases straight up multiboxing, and it should straight up be banned

I honestly thought that about the strat bots too until I started following them to kill them, I thought it was more than likely some group of guys in a cubicle farm multibox farming in shifts. Nope, they’re straight up bots with different pathing routes to the instances, the same group of 5 will go 5 different paths to get there

Oh look it’s the P-servers are better than classic Reeeee kid, back with his same rhetoric of its wrong because I don’t like it.
Every time you come out with that you get shut down but you still post it in every thread.

Alt tabbing is not the same as multiboxing.
Owning multiple accounts is not multiboxing.
For all you know it could be some company out in Korea/China somewhere with 300 accounts on a screen with shift work teams. Or it could be some kid with 10 accounts and a bot program.

Solution : Making herbs invisible while in ghost …

What does this solve ? Nothing. The problem are bots, ban the bots.

And it seems … in eyes of younger generation, everything is multiboxing

Multiboxing is a tool that can be potentialy abused

Ban the gold buyers, that removes the need for bots… just putting it out there, solves both problems… I wonder how many high end guilds and rank hunters would loose their accounts? How many gamer dads who play for 2 hours on Sunday would loose their accounts.

The raid loggers who buy gold so they don’t have to farm, but can still maintain the “hardcore” status.

As long as there is a demand, someone/thing will meet it

“For all you know it could be some company out in Korea/China somewhere with 300 accounts on a screen with shift work teams.”

Russia is using shift work teams. China is using the bots. Russians are too dumb to program bots.

all ik is that multiboxing makes this possible

Blizzard doesn’t care as long as their pockets are full with the botter’s cash.

No, it doesn’t… running multiple accounts makes this possible, and stop trying to muddy the waters to get your personal bias across. You’ve tried that several times in other threads.

We get it, you genuinely don’t understand what you’re talking about and as a result don’t like it. Best of luck to ya… but sure I just know you’re going to reeeeeee scream the same comments back again and again no matter how many times people correct you.

running multiple accounts = multiboxing. regardless of if you like it or not.

not my opinion, just facts

all bots are mutliboxers but not all multiboxers are bots …

we can argue about the definition all day long.

Someone who plays 5 characters in group concurently … yes, it is multiboxer.
Someone who has online 5 chars and waiting for black lotus respawn is a c*nt, not multiboxer.

i suggest you learn to read. someone who plays 5 accounts is a multiboxer.

if you wanna be punctilious …
multiboxer uses software to , broadcast , commands to all other active running games. he plays the game as a group consisting of more than one player

on the other hand, i dont know how to name such person, who has multiple copies of wow and uses scripts to run bots to grind herbs etc. is not multiboxer.

classic is an old game, but it has changed many things since the launch.
either you gonna be parroting deffinitions that may or may not fit all games.

if you not see the clear difference between those two mentioned above,
i suggest you learn to think for yourself.
