I don’t know what happen, but I can’t find no one for 3-4h even sometimes 7h straight farm.
Did Blizzard increase respawn points, what happening. It is not normal. You can have 5 Black lotus and you can buy a epic mount with this. After all this is consumptive.
Increased spawn points, and spawn timers.
I could be wrong, with 15-20 spawns and about 12min timers.
so on every 12min is respawn ?
12 min after one is picked, same as it used to be from 45-75min…
What happens if something spawns in textures and is not gatherable? Is there a timer to unspawn herbs which were not gathered for long time? I’m not asking for Black Lotus in particular, but I noticed this happens to some mid level herbs. I wonder, if they truly spawn randomly, or was it just a manual placement error. Or maybe it’s just me and it was actually fine.
As far as I’m aware the respawn timer is random it can be as low as 5 minutes up to 12 minutes or even longer.
The problem with lotus is the change Blizzard made has had no effect, at least to me. Before they increased the spawn rate and lowered the timer I had 2 Black lotus in total since I started the game after the change I have found only 1. I’ve put in a lot of work to try find them but the competition is so tough it’s almost impossible to farm them.
You’ve still got lotus mafia’s in each zone who are covering most spawn points and using a Hunter or Shaman to scout the uncamped points with far sight and they simply send the person closest to go pick it.
You’ll find botters and multi boxers with stealthed characters near each spawn points.
And then these players who are stock piling them will only put a few in the AH at a time to keep the demand and price high for it.
So if your just a standard player not part of a mafia or don’t own multiple accounts then gl trying to find lotus since your not just competing against teams camping it around the clock but in the off chance they aren’t close when one spawns then you’ll also be competing with normal solo players like yourself.
Yeah in my server i see hunter lvl 25 in silithus just spamming faar sight all the time
Its all about luck.
You ride around the whole day and get nothing. Because you compete with 10 others riding around the same route.
Usualy i get one when it spawns on me, just as someone else has passed by.
Its down to pure luck.
I was speaking with a great guy and he told me, respawn time it is 15-75 min.
I found two lotus one at 75 min and second one at 33min(after 15min pause) in roll.
So you must always take 15min break before start searching again.
I’ve just started farming black lotus about 2 weeks ago. I’ve found a total of 10 so far.
One time I found 2 with about a 10 minute gap in between . Early in the morning is the best time to farm 3am - 9am. I wouldn’t bother doing it outside of these hours.
I dunno, I get one whenever I decide to farm one. It seems the RP server is the way to go??? Then again dont be disappointed if you just sell em for 50G there. (which tbh seems about right, in honesty).
More accurate, ive been farming deeply at night there (around 5 AM) and always got one within 20 minutes. If I make my routing of going through BS twice + EPL twice, plus WS twice, I will find 2.
And then I have made 100G in a bit over an hour. Nothing special.
Forget what I said about 15min pause 
Keep rolling after you got 1, they can respawn immediately.
