Black Lotus Spawn Rate Increased - 13 February

With a hotfix going out to all Classic Era realms today, we’re increasing the rate at which Black Lotus respawns from any appropriate node.

Because this is an increase to respawn rate, it may not be immediately noticeable. However, over the next few hours and days, the aggregate supply of Black Lotus should increase on Classic Era, Anniversary, and Hardcore realms.

While this hotfix also applies to Season of Discovery realms, its impact there should be negligible, as those realms have a separate boost on Black Lotus spawns in place already.

Here’s the thing on Spineshatter price of black lotus breached 120 gold could be market manipulation could be poor spawns. I’m sorry but for regular players that play an honest game the price is absurd. Make the resource commonly found so the prices stop being gouged!

Sure buddy lets give every warrior free bis helmet that last for several phases. Blizz should stop messing with original spawns and drops.

Lmao at the people complaining. Pop of anniversary is insanely high compared to original servers, and the increase in spawn rate is more than justified. Having a few herbs spawn which are completely locked down by botting mafia is extremely unhealthy for the game. Cry harder!

Why… cant you just keep a single promise. Keep classic…classsic and stop all these changes… You might succed in moving vanilla players back to not Blizzard servers.

Really incompetent company.

You should cancel all the bids on Black Lotus that were made before this announcement. This is market manipulation and loses honest peoples aquired Gold. I will lose at least 1500g from this. Thank you for destroying everything I built up.

But what would change for bots? They’ll still sit behind earth and click on spawn points.

Thank you Blizzard <3
Smart decision.

I dont think buying 10 at a time and crafting flasks to sell them is what anyone would call hoarding. A change for black lotus spawns should have been at the start of the game and not when people playing the games economy get ruined by such a decision. The botters will not care about this, may still hoard or whatever but a normal player gets a hit in the face. If people would have known earlier about this change the price would have gone down earlier.
