Doesn’t affect me at all. But I agree that it’s a kinda consumer unfriendly move. It just leaves a bad taste.
Hes right though, its not blizzards fault they choose to pay for something they dont play… Its their responsibility to choose where their money goes to.
Praying that the EU doesn’t decide to confiscate our game time, then to reverse their decision, then to block us getting game time exports, then to reverse it, then to block us again, just to reverse their decision.
Also on topic, old news as far as EU is concerned. Doesn’t impact subscription prices.
Thats what i kept saying but people would give everything for Blizzard and their addiction, no way u can reason with forum trolls who have more /forum played then /game played.
Or basic life knowledge
Woah careful, making a logical and true statement on here!! These are the WoW forums, facts don’t exist if they go against the faux shock horror of the thread title.
No sir, I don’t like it…
I am one of those players that buys subscription once in a while when I feel the need to play the game for a month. Now forced to buy a subscription and cancel it right away. Which is just inconvenient cause of the extra “actions”.
I don’t know how many players are paying for a one month gametime option whenever they feel the need to. But now I will think twice before buying new game time again… and I don’t feel the need to do this right now.
A missed opportunity.
But thats just human stupidity, no? If you stop using something, you should obviously unsub, or stop paying… Or atleast not cry that you paid for nothing
Okay so it affected physical card which could be purchased and used as subscription, and now it’s only 60 day? So normal bnet subscription options stays same?
So abusing stupidity isnt predatory?
No i can still see the 30/60/180 option on my account.
They arent abusing anything, what are you on about? If someone is stupid, its their fault if they forget or do something stupid. I cant see how you can blame blizzard for this.
well rip me then…checked whole shop only 60 days to sub now…
I just looked & I can SUBSCRIBE for 1, 3 , or 6 months.
I can only buy GAME TIME for 60 days (It’s been like this since December for me because I live in the UK)
Alright il stop posting here people are so clueless its actualy melting my braincells harder then acid
Let’s make one thing clear: I friggin’ despise Blizzard’s business model for WoW because of its archaic design. I will always argue – and have many times – that Blizzard should provide more flexible subscription options, like 7 days or 14 days, or even pay by the hour. And I will also argue that having more Game Time choices is better than having fewer.
More options is always in the customer’s interest. And I am the customer.
However, just because Blizzard makes a change to one of their payment products, then it doesn’t mean the looney show is open for everyone to complain about all kinds of random crap that has nothing to do with the actual change made by Blizzard.
And it certainly doesn’t mean that we should start blaming Blizzard for people’s own stupidity, as for example when they don’t cancel their subscriptions despite not playing the game.
Criticize Blizzard for the right thing. Not everything.
I think your braincells have been melted long ago if you cannot even stand your own arguement… No offense, but really
Subscribe and game time are different things or i don’t get how do you have 1,3,6 month sub options and you can only buy 60 day game time?
Yes.
And the physical card is actually just a digital card now. But otherwise yes.
Just to add as to how this will affect some people: I used to save up for the 6 months of game time through tokens by converting to battle.net balance.
So buy 5 tokens, convert to 65€, add the remainder to bnet, buy the time, rinse and repeat as needed. This option just became a bit more expensive, as 6 months gametime is now 6 full tokens, no discount whatsoever.
I see, I didn’t even know you could purchase digital cards for sub. Thanks for explaining.
