Blizz making game time changes

The reason is that they try to confuse people into playing for 2 months instead of 1

I think it could go the other way as well. I certainly wouldn’t mind if I could get a 14 day subscription that cost €7 (versus €12.99 for a month). Or a 3 day subscription for €3.
Even though both of those options would have less value that the longer subscriptions, they offer a bit more flexibility in terms of choosing when you want to play without having to pay in excess for time you might not even spend.
And it subsequently makes the 1 month subscription more ideal for those who really do want to play for a month.
But that’s all wishful thinking. :yum:

I think the Game Time change isn’t made so much for purposes of greed but rather for the sake of product simplicity. I honestly don’t think it’s going to have a big effect on the bottom line.
But I think you can easily imagine a newbie getting WoW and upgrading to a full account and Googling WoW Game Time prices and seeing a myriad of different costs and days and places to buy it from.
That’s a needless mess.
And from a marketing point of view there’s a lot to be said for just having one product and one price. It works wonders for Apple.

It is not Blizzard’s fault. It’s no company’s fault if people don’t sort out their subscriptions, no matter what the product.

People make mistakes but that’s still their mistake.

Same here, most people do I reckon. I don’t get the big deal, didn’t even know they sold game time on the store to be honest.

Big companies are greedy, and at least the only thing you miss out on by cancelling your sub straight away are these forums. It could certainly be worse, something that springs to mind is Amazon Prime where as far as I can remember if you cancel your sub early you lose access to other benefits like Prime Video.

whos fault then ? they try to scam customers as always

My english is not the yellow from the egg

Guys, look… I know it’s shock, but we have to persevere, nothing can be done because it works that way in the world but one day, the day of justice will come for Bobby and bring back these sub gametime options! There’s still a hope. Don’t give up!

I wanted to quit too for some time, but I realized I couldn’t give up, there’s always hope and I won’t betray Jaina.

Eh? What??

How?

Isnt it clearly told:
60 days of gametime is sold for 25 euros. And if you dont want to play for 2 months or pay for 2 months at a time, thats your choice.

Confusing people about paying for gametime for 2 months would be totally different.

Something like: gametime might or might not expire within 60 days.

There is literally no confusing statement at all. And thats the weirdest argument to use in this thread.

yes it is 13+13=26 but for 60 days

So subscriptions are scams now. Hilarious.

Probably some kind of idiom in his language that doesn’t make sense in English.

Curious…hmm.

Its all an inside job.

No that’s how the canadian dollar works if you check anything else.

I’m sorry when arrogant MvP’s force their ignorance on me that I resort to calling some1 a child, the worst offense there is, my sincerest apologies

the thing is that people who played long-term with tokens (or bought the “mount + time” packages) could grab the half-year game time for just 5 tokens as 6-month GT costed the same as 5 1-month GT.

Thats why they specifically mention this in the blue post:

Please note that currently, the options and pricing for the purchase of both WoW subscriptions and WoW Tokens will remain unaffected

If you dont buy your gametime on a monthly basis (ie the subscription plan) nothing changes till they decide it has to change.

? Nothing I said was wrong maybe you should read again what exactly it was that I meant.

Yes, I’m sure you’re happy with gambling and lootboxes being allowed in games too and whatever else is ‘currently legal’ or ‘allowed’ even if they’re morally reprehensible.
