This is just an inconvenience added for the sake of attempting to push more people into subscriptions. Just another greedy move motivated with some nonsentical, distasteful text. I feel nothing but comtempt.

Subscription and game time prices in Russian region just got increased by 18% btw, together with this options removal. This is the first time in years we get a bluepost before EU 
I was mostly responding to the reasoning in the post I replied to, which went like this:
And my point was simply that Blizzard are just furthering their preferred payment option. And if that is the one you use – subscription – then it works out well for you. You get the product (game time) a bit cheaper.
As far as options goes, then I commented on that earlier:
This change has no benefits for us customers whatsoever.
I dont understand why people feel the need to defend this.

I mean it is artificially making subscription “cheaper”, by making the other option more expensive. This change does not benefit any player at all. If they made sub cheaper, then it would be fine, but making game time more expensive is just pure greed decision.

That wasn’t my point at all, but I can see why it gets muddied.
I simply said that it’s pretty normal that a business incentivizes a certain form of payment – like online hotel bookings. That’s of course because it’s of benefit to the business itself. This isn’t really a case of Blizzard doing something outrageous or unseen. It’s pretty common.
And my point was merely that if you’re using that incentivized payment option anyway – being the subscription for WoW – then it’s good for you.
Maybe that was a terrible point to make, because it’s not really related to the Game Time product and is really just me saying hurray because I use subscription and subscription is the cheapest payment option.
So muddied point and somewhat selfish point… forget it. 
And as far as the Game Time purchase options are concerned, then again, my point on that specifically was as said before:
Ok i understand more what you meant. Yes there should be benefits for certain options, like there are for getting 6 months at once cheaper instead of 1 by 1, but this only really works for new options, for example if blizz gave option to sub 12 month even cheaper than 2x6months.
However, when existing ones are suddenly made worse and more expensive, there is no real justification for it.

The thing is, there’s tons of people that subscribe and then forget what day it falls under to cancel or they lose interest before that day. I think you can get a refund if it’s early enough but there’s also a lot of people that won’t go through the ‘hassle’ of having to try to get a refund so every now and then Blizzard will get an extra month of sub time out of them.
I dislike changes like this when they come without any reason attached. It also messes with gifting, and gift cards for time. My friend is still salty they removed the year time sub cards because it’s something his folks would get him for Christmas every year due to the discount.

If you can’t afford something, you simply can’t afford it, having a discussion about this is hilarious to me.
At least token stays for 30 days. At this point, I can’t play more than that before taking a 3-month break.

i usually buy 1 month to test the game if i dont like it im not adding more time.Just buy one month and then cancel sub

Although i dont see the need to defend it, i also dont see the need to “attack” Blizzard on this change.

Sucks if you’re Dutch and use IDeal, though. Pretty much have no choice but to pay for 60 days now.
