How long did it take?

Maybe a day, or two. I logged back in to a letter in my mailbox, which explained the situation.

NO WAY
Dude, screenshot it, print it, savour it.
Wont happen again

They do send out these letters, but it’s often hard to understand which report they mean. It’s even less clear whether they actually took action or simply included the bot to the list for a 2025 banwave.

I have got 5 of those letters.

Go to any sun 60 zone and you will see more bots than human players grinding and herbing. They are usually around the areas with no quests ans just grind mobs. Usually rogues but I have also seen a lot of mages, and some few warriors and locks. Some of them seem to be “semi-botting” or running a script and sometimes control the character manually. Other bots just stand and die if you ninja tagg their mob.

The bot situation in Classic is REALLY BAD and what we can see is just the tip of the iceberg.
