I generally believe this is not only the best option for the community, but also the best option for Blizzards wallet, what do you think?
There is a forum dedicated to Classic discussions which can be found here
Oh sorry I thought I was on the classic general forum.
Classic has an update, it’s called The Burning Crusade.
Understandable really with all the classic posts in here
I hope they do wotlk aswel that’s where my most fond memories are.
Which was even more successful. What do people want ? 30 Million SuBs ?
Neither forum can stop mentioning the other game for some reason. It drives me nuts
Its like kids and «my dad is stronger then your dad!» just play whatever version u like and be happy.
OSRS had an update, it was called Runescape 3 and people didn’t want to go down that path because it irrevocably changed the game, even though there were some positive aspects, much like TBC.
I understand that people are terrified that updates to Classic might spoil the game but it’s already been proven that it can be done. Supermajority polling + faithful and authentic new content true to the original design philosophy.
I keep hearing the argument ‘But Classic is meant to be a faithful replication of Vanilla WoW’ - It should be, for now.
However, after all the content is exhausted, there will be an inevitable drop off. No matter how good the game is, people aren’t going to invest totally in a project that will eventually stagnate. Nobody wants to see Classic fizzle out and die. It’s a one shot opportunity to build on everything the game does well and go in a totally different direction to retail WoW.
