No they arent. Its changing quick but i think weakauras said theyre done.
Thats probably the biggest addon in game gone. If tjats ‘working with them’ i dunno.

These will be available. Luxthos has said this in his video he released the other day.
They are not disregarding them at all. They’re already making changes based on alpha feedback.

Maybe to make sure their own features/settings/tools are going to be up to par?
Whatever; ultimately I don’t really care. I hardly use addons and certainly no combat addons.
Needs to be with tts prompts as well either when i gain or lose a buff, same with trinkets, or telling me to do a thing at 5 stacks via tts.
Anyway i am not in beta so cannot verify if it can do everything i use wa for.

So basically we are going back to TBC style bosses with 1-2 abilities. And you thinknthis will be an engaging encounter?
You mean like FFXIV has addons banned ?
Oh wait, it is banned but an overwhelming majority of people use the launcher that allows modding to use DBM (in it’s FFXIV version) and dps meters.

I wouldn’t say overwhelming majority. Cactbot and other DPS raid solving mods ain’t even a part of default Dalamud repertoire. Most players tend to use mods of visual variety if only because players doing high end content aren’t the ones XIV caters to. There’s also a simply fact that the content is designed and tested around clearing it without add-ons and it shows. You’re not told out of the gate by any guide you need to install X add-ons just to be able to enjoy the game. And yes XIV added quite a lot of add-on functionality into the game over time.
Also Raid oriented add-ons tends to be looked down on when it comes to World First Race and if there’s a solid proof that the tools like that were used the team might even get their achievement revoked. Far cry from WoW where it’s equal part execution on the raiders team and size of their dev team developing WAs to assist.
