Not sure if you already tried this but in the launcher right next to the blue button where you can start your WoW client there is a tiny cogwheel. If you click this and then choose game settings you should see a dialog where you can select the text and speach language your client should use. This way you should be able to switch your client to English
This would had been such a simple fix.
Pretty much every educated person in Europe who was born on end of the 80s and after should be already having a very decent grasp of English if not able to fully use it as a second language.
Just imagine!
You need to go to English Wowhead (or search on russian wowhead for item or quest etc, and then switch to english) and read full text of a quest or an ability or a passive ability, so that you can just continue playing and understand that the translation is correct.
No way to effective report bad translation. No way to play in “original” game.
Its hurts.
I was trying to say that it would had been better if they also got the English version completely.
English is not my first language here either. It was video games that accelerated my uptake of English as a kid.
More often than not, I would cringe when playing a lot of the games that were localized in my first language.
I think, they use a 2.4.3 official alpha ruRU package for “aesthetic exp”.
First russian package was released in the end of TBC.
With all bugs and stuff.
