Blizzard needs to reintroduce AP to save wow

Everything you’re saying all comes down to player behaviour.
It’s their own fault for behaving like elitists. I don’t want to be a victim because there’s players who can’t be social and are causing others to feel ‘forced’. The players should change imo (or suffer for their toxic behaviour - as it stands now I am suffering and they get to be toxic all they want; I’d say that’s highly unfair).

Not if they’d make it exclusively for world content. Then it would be of no interest to ‘big 3’ players.

by some people ? for sure.

for others its stone age of wow that fits the museum of classic realms nothing more.

You’ve praised ffxiv while using the same praising arguments as a blaming argument against wow!

Why you lying though.

You weren’t doing 15s with azerite gear you couldn’t use.

Or he was being hard carried :x

He is not exactly wrong you were able to do 15’s (or 10’s in s1 since that was the top for the weekly chest) with whatever azerite gear you received and without farming AP.

That was excatly the same way in Cataclysm, TBC and Vanilla

Another way to look at the numbers, so many people got burned in legion, bfa and sl with the rubbish grind systems, that they jumped ship and found other things to do…

Bro, he was doing +3s. I’ve checked his characters.

That is another story, of course
But it was for sure possible to just play without farming AP, since it had aggressive catch up with the AP knowledge. 10’s and 15’s weren’t exactly proffessional level either, so you could do those with whatever AZ gear.

No.

I ended season 1 without having fully unlocked azerite armor.

I couldn’t even utilize gear I got early on and was being held back due to the azerite level.

edit: Oh, right, you’re of course psjohly, that explains it all. Ignored, again. Bye.

Me too since i rerolled ~2 months before the end of s1, and i timed up to +14 on that char. where +10 was the max. I didnt even have time to get ‘the right’ azerite gear.

A natural behavior in any competitive scene. Like there are 3 dps spots but 50 applicants. People will naturally look for any edge they can find to stand out among the competition. Not sure whats so “elitist” here.

Yeah…just a “few” 12M peps. Nothing to worry about.

And in Vanilla, TBC you can see the that sub amounts kept rising until peaking. In cata it started to fall down for various reasons. Some disliked the story, others disliked the raids, then there was the case of a long Dragon soul drought and etc.

So take the first 3 that applied. Makes sense?
No need for toxic behaviour that results in unhealthy, obsessive behaviour for others.

If its a +2 key sure. Higher keys not so much, where the party comp also starts to matter.

Realistically what key level are you talking about here?

Around +20.

And that’s why Tah has suggested a progressive system for world content, and to keep it away from the ‘Big 3’. It’s obvious in those it creates too much friction.

I think if Blizzard finds a way to implement an ‘AP-like’ system for world content lovers, which does not bleed over into other content but at the same time is not too restrictive for world players, they’ll have figured something out they can keep for the future too.

You don’t NEED to do anything higher than 20.
So it’s a luxury ‘problem’.

I know that may sound stupid; but I get told ‘you don’t need gear’ all the time.
If that’s really an argument; same applies here.

The difference is; for +20’s you NEED gear. For world quests you do not.
