Most of those sheeps believe in their own #nochanges, basically accepting only changes which are convenient to them (see horde against faction specific login queue but in favor of removing AV numbers from the bg queue)
There were tons of suggestions of any kind which could have improved the current state of the game without necessarily leading to a retail like game
I’m aware that there are already way too much changes, exacty why we have to do our best to protect Classic as best as we can from even more dumb changes!
I never played on pservers and I have played throught Vanilla, TBC and WotLK, quit before Cata.
What have they done to this item in Classic and how was it in Vanilla?

I’m gonna play anyway until naxx is done perhaps join tbc. And then ignore blizzard for ever.
I did not though they was capable destroying things which was already made successful in a basement.
But they did earn that achievement
