Blizzard not adding LFR to mop classic

Sounds to me like Blizzard is testing out the waters.

Don’t panic yet as you then will be able to get LFR gear from doing mythic dungeons, so you can still get your epics!

is there no LFR is cata either ?

There was leaked info recently about them apparently removing LFR from retail in the very near future. So we’ll have to wait and see.

LFR is in the Beta. Unlike Cataclysm, in this expansion LFR is required to have the full story experience because the raids are an integral part of the Legendary Quest Chain, wich was made availble in LFR for casual players on purpose. LFR should be in Classic for that reason. I only play Classic solo for the story so I don’t care in previous expansions if I can’t raid, given I can experience the story in Retail. But the Legendary Quest Chain was awfully removed in Retail, so LFR is a must

That’d be really smart, as they added story mode and delves anyway, so the low level content, i.e. nhc raiding becomes a more social activity

All I can say is: If that’s true, that’s extremely bad.

It was said they’d be making normal queueable though. Normal raids in general have literally been LFR level difficulty anyways, the only difference being you have to be semi-conscious and put the group together yourself.

Frustrating the link don’t work. Not sure how true all the information is, but it’s fun to speculate.

Yeah, that’s a no no for me.

That’s not what I call fun.
I would call it ‘very worrying’ if WoW would descend into this kind of anti casual stance.

Yeah I understand. I’m the same.

But it feels like Blizzard are kinda trying to streamline everything to make things more accessible. The amount of raid difficulties is silly anyways imo. So a consolidation of them wouldn’t be too bad as long as they keep the skill floor as low as it is now, and go from there.

With them so hot on the topic of addons though, especially raid ones, things like alterations to raids and things seem like they’d come hand in hand.

I’m unsee blizz would remove LFR from retail…I’m sure blizz dont want lost players for quit if remove LFR.
Since LFR help who casual players like myself.

By (if this is true) locking out anyone who doesn’t raid from future dinar/cartel chips, for example? Doesn’t sound ‘accessible’ to me.

If anything they should consolidate normal/heroic.

LFR is THE most used raid type. They said as much a few years ago.

Best thing ever .

Tbc Karazhan and dungeon were overflowed with casuals.

This mode is successful and not some afk mode .

Just put some Story-line dungeons and that’s all .

Lfr in the previous 3 expansions half+ people afking and 5-7 raiders doing the whole job …Who is going to quit ??

Yes, but from the “leaks” it sounded more like they were consolidating LFR and normal, BUT you can queue for it now. The difficulty from LFR and normal is barely noticeable for the most part outside of having to make the the group yourself on retail anyways.

So it would be Normal = Queuable (like old LFR)
HC stays the same
Mythic stays the same

Yes, and even the classic version in 2021. Blizzard has evidence that casuals would socialize, if it was required to do the content and their own achievements/gear would be more respected by the developper and community

No that’s not ‘all’.
There’s transmog appearances. There’s unique raid drops (like this season’s explosive hearthstone). There’s future dinar/cartel chip systems. Etc etc.

There’s way more at stake.

If we notice which afk. We kick them out
