hi , i found out yesterday that my bethelnet account was blocked for the reasons mentioned in the email i received from blizzard . Although I immediately applied for a reconsideration request to submit a ticket, after the searches I made in the forums, I have completed the request for revision, and I want to give you the confidence that there must have been a mistake.I use different add-ons, but I never even tried to cheat in the game. I downloaded add-ons from reputable sites and it is impossible to be the reason for the ban. I built this account many years ago when I bought the first subscription of warcraft world of battle for Uzroth and I was away from the game for a while due to work and now after adding two subscriptions to the game Burning Crusader and Land of Shadows I resumed playing for about two months. But it really shocked me why and what made Blizzard decide to ban my account… I respect you and all your colleagues and thank you for the time you spend reading this ticket, but please be fair how can I be indifferent to this issue given the active subscriptions and the time in my account. i never did bot , cheat or hack ! my country’s ip is not able to connect in game without using vpn , and if i use vpn , so it would be change with each time reconnected . anyways they belive it i am an hacker or bot cuse many times changed my ip but it was not any bot or cheat or hack . it was an normal player with unlucky country …
and now … as u see i dont have my real froums profiles anymore

Using a VPN counts as 3rd party software. If you are using a VPN to hide your home country then you may be breaking International Law, that is if you country has business sanctions against it.
not beacuse i went hide my country , as i did set my country 'IRAN’i in my battlenet account. there we just can’t log in our caracter and will lose loading screen without vpn . but anyways if even it was case about my country , why is there still name of my country when i creat my account ? it was only sad i saw it happend to me i am an old customer in blizzard i never used cheat or multibox or bot or hack or anythings i played world of warcraft from BFA to this moment .yes i agree somethings was wrong about my country looks like i never was able to do anythings in the shop or add blizzard ballance or … but why bann ??? how can they dont care about me as a human who’s a castumer for many years , how can they ignored my time… my energy that i maked for my games in this time …
You are illegally accessing the game and using a VPN to bypass the lockout.
There are currently economic sanctions against Iran and it’s Blizzards legal obligation to stop you accessing the game.
Sanction are not just against the Government of your country but it’s citizens too.
Sorry, it shouldn’t be the case for the general population but it’s the way international relations work.
Blizzard would need to ask the US Government for an Exemption to allow you to play.

My God, I do not know how to prove my innocence. I created this account 2 years ago. Until now, there was no warning or ban or any worrying issue about my account. I can not believe that you did this to me. I do not accept these allegations in any way. I installed all third-party programs from reputable websites under the auspices of World of Warcraft. All this time I used only one type of macro, only when I went to helfire gold farming to target and tag specific mobs. I never used a multipbox or a robot. Please return my account. How could I use I have abused the game economically, but now I can not afford to pay and buy another game subscription … I am very worried and depressed. If my account has been hacked then please help me secure it. I have a misunderstanding about my account. I will do my best to prove that I did not break the rules or at least never intended to do so.
I believe it has alteady been explained to you that, unfortunately, it is against the Terms of Service to connect to WoW through a VPN. World of Warcraft, ultimately an American service, is not available in Iran due to political sanctions from USA against your country.
Yeah it sucks, it is unfair and in my opinion it is an eternal shame upon Blizzard that they ban people for using VPN when anyone in their right mind should use one, but that’s neither here nor there.
The fact is, from Blizzard’s point of view, you have been banned rightfully and that’s the end of it.

but still i belive it was not about my connection problme … well it is not for first time it happend to my account . i have still screenshots from my chat with GM they told me as first answerd ticket i sent , they said ofcurse they should be can help my case and asked me my id card national picture and after veryfi it was right myself after reveiwed my case in a final ticket they answerd that my world of warcraft account is allow to use once again … that was a real issuse about using vpn while gaming . why ? beacuse at that time i was playing shadowlands . as you know we can use TBC without any vpn , and i didnt use vpn for TBC , never … look at my tbc charecter … is it lookslike a Bot player ? or somone with using cheat or …

The forums is not the place to appeal account actions. I’ve merged all your threads into this one and will be closing it.
I will however clarify a point made earlier that it is not against the rules to play from Iran. While there are sanctions in place by the US, that does not stop fans from the country legitimately playing from there.
