Does anyone think blizzards reporting system is broken?
I have had a number of warnings and not interacted with anyone. For the last 2 weeks I have only been doing achievements yet received a warning.
The warnings could be from other game versions.
Nothing from your post suggest anything that it could be broken, players are allowed to report others in good faith and the warning popup is there to remind you of the terms and to review your recent behaviour.
It is not a written Blizzard account action.
I get that, but how can I be reported and not interact with anyone and get reported, I don’t play any other games that blizzard make
Other versions of WoW?
Why not? As an example if you click a random player’s toon you can report them. No interaction required.
I dont play other wow and havent for an ages,
I get what you mean but that it just stupid, you basically will just have people running round reporting anyone for no reason.
And then their reports will be discarded since it contains no reason.
It is broken, because the Bot maffia mass reports you if you get in their zones.
Blizzard or their community dudes won’t tell you this because this has been plaguing this game for months already, and since they’re paying subs… I mean why the rush to do something about it right?
I just had the same thing happening, and guildies reporting to me some of them actually got banned before for this.
Even though i had no interactions with anyone.
Can you provide proof that you and/or others were specifically banned for reporting bots?
Yeah, it was already exposed weeks ago, and discussed with big name streamers.
Search on Youtube: Exposing The Botting Mafia in World of Warcraft, since I’ll probably get a warning if i post a link.
And you’re acting like this is new, there has been a plenty amount of video’s of this happening to people LIVE on stream even.
This video did not contain sources, any other then the youtuber’s own words and cannot be considered a source.
The video alleges that he has been threatened by the “bot mafia” but also failed to provide any evidence thereof.
Therefore the video is not considered proof of it happening to you, your guildies etc. Hearsay of something may have happened to them doesn’t mean it also imaginary happened to you.
My point exactly with your reaction here.
This problem has existed since like forever in WoW, many many many videos were posted with proof already.
How much more do you need for you to stop pretending it’s not happening?
I’ll shadowplay record if it happens to me, and ask others to do the same but even then it’s probably still not enough.
I hope if i do get banned over this, that if i appeal it, I will be given the exact copy pasta of my actual offense, which in this case doesn’t exist.
What a surprise, on cata it’s still the same too.
Several days later I revisited this topic. You have admitted that your problem doesn’t exist as once again, no direct evidence to support you or your guildies having been banned for reporting bots has been presented.
You even backtracked and moved the goalpost that you would shadowplay record it IF it were to happen to you.
Whilst presenting that it happened to you directly, so you must have first hand proof but failed to present it several times after asking for it.
So did it happen, or did it not?
The quoted thread Bots are more beneficial than dada's does not support your point that you or your guildies were banned. It doesn’t even mention your name, your guild, or even your “friends”.
The thread is about a banwave effectively removing bots that increased material prices as a result of it. It has nothing to do with your point.
It is very likely your presented narrative is either Fake or False.
