Meta slaves, all I can say.
I mean I get the comments that the devs honestly should know better.
But on the other side, I personally don’t care enough about PvP to be that invested into it, and I am seriously wondering whether you cannot counter these racial setups
Edit: and does it really matter for the average player?
But the Nelf Racial in PvP that allows you to drop combat and drink (for healers). Is really OP as he mentions. In PvE is not as OP, but still its better than anything else by a large margin.
I dont know. But I want it to stay that way.
The nelf and dwarf one definelty matters. In PvE it can mean dying or living a mechanic. In rare cases timing a key.
In PvP according to Venrouki it gives you a significant advantage. But I dont play PvP and streamers should be taken with a grain of salt.
Depends on the racial and the boss. I mean Archimonde and Painsmith were just begging for certain racials (painsmith at least got nerfed).
Nelf racial was also quite broken for M+ for an eternity and used across all levels. Dwarf is also quite nasty if a bleed is involved that hurts. Nelfs and Taurens were also giga for Raszageth making her entire orb mechanic pretty much trivial (not just mythic)
You say it doesnt matter yet you are spending a lot of time here arguing that it doesnt matter and that Vulpera is fine and anyone who wants them buffed is a “meta slave”
You of all people should either not care and not take part or be happy that people want a buff to the race you play. This community makes no sense
Nobody is talking about touching the tent or anything else, all were asking for is either a 1% stat buff OR a bigger buff to bag of tricks damage so its more in line with other races DPS and not dead bottom
There is an easy fix: shadowmeld should go back to not being usable in combat.
You don’t lose any racial identity and it actually makes more sense lore-wise. Night elves use shadowmeld to lie in ambush, ready to attack an unsuspecting opponent. It never made sense to try to use it while already engaged with the enemy.
There are so many easy fixes in wow that haven’t been done yet.
Like drinking in Arenas. Why ? They try to do everything possible to limit healing in Arenas with the goal of preventing eternal 20 minute long matches… Yet… they allow mana replenishment.
From what I am reading it is actually a nerf, as they are buffing the damage and healing of it but nerf it to a single target only.
I am not sure if this “buff” will change much on the ability. In PvE we do not use it unless we have no other option available to the class we are playing. It is a waste of GCD as the racial does start one.
For casters it does not generate resources, and it does not scale for their spec-specific buffs.
For melee you have other abilities that do way more damage than the vial does.
The only advantage it has is that you can throw a miniscule amount of healing on 1 person, and heal 3 if they stand on top of each other.
With the changes maybe tanks get more mileage out of it, but the thing that in my opinion can save this ability is to take it off of GCD, but that would likely cause issues in PvP.
Having a 1% extra secondary stat instead of 1% fire resistance would fix this issue tbh.
This is the most simple and sensible solution, give Vulpera a 1% haste. This is also good because then they can use bag of tricks as a defensive and not have to worry about losing damage
