Blizzard thread replies

Most likely 3rd party programs that send data to the servers and back. Each character needs to send its own data, so if this guy has 24 characters in the instance, he is sending the data of 24 scripts (assuming he is ONLY running 1 script per character) every time.

If a third-party program does that, believe me, it gets shut down in a heartbeat. I once tried to use Cheat Engine in WoW when I was 11-yo or something and even before I tried to change anything I got kicked and suspended for 72 hours.

I can get behind the argument that the latency increases due to a lot of macros being used but third party software is a bit too much of a reach. I wouldn’t be surprised though if it were the case, I just find it unlikely someone can get away with it.

Depends on the program, some are more subtle than others, and some are even allowed, but like I said I have no idea what this particular multiboxer is using, only him and Blizzard would know that.

I totally agree with this. If the GM’s have no authority or knowledge to answer, or don’t ever care to send any of these ideas to the devs, since the devs dont read eu forums, then these forums are USELESS. Just a place to come when you are bored and discuss some random BS. There are so many good suggestions in these forums, or problems adressed, but none of them are of use, apparently.
If you don’t listen to your own forums, Blizzard, then just dont have any forums! If I want to speak with other players there is always the Argent Dawn trade chat.

Yep, no idea why there are even GMs present if they don’t have the authority or knowledge or are too shy because of potential backlash to answer.

I… I did not consent to this…

I think it’s most likely that they aren’t allowed to post in these threads. They are here to moderate (the forum police if you will) and to pass on to the devs the different issues that community is discussing.

Them replying to fun and casual threads is nothing wrong at all. First, they’re humans and they like interacting with people just like us, second it’s probably a subtle way of saying we’re here, we hear you, it’s all we can do.

I have no problem with Blues commenting on cutesy threads. Also they aren’t really allowed to comment regarding class design and such.

I never said it’s wrong for them to respond to fun and casual threads. However it does get frustrating when you see them respond to these trivial threads and not to actual problems that need addressing. I don’t see anything wrong with them saying “We will forward this to the devs.” if they actually do forward stuff to the devs.

Feels like the forums is just a place to make conversation much similar to a social guild or trade chat, especially the EU forums, when in my eyes it should be to give us, people who do not have a big following like popular content creators, a voice to raise issues, concerns, bugs etc. about the game.

When a Blue responds to trivial threads but not to serious issues affecting the game, it just gives off the impression that they don’t really care and are just here to be give Blizzard good PR.

I’m sure they care but that’s all they can do.

On US servers you have devs constantly replying and discussing with the community. This is the EU forums and it never happens.

Them saying “We will pass on the issue” won’t do any good. If anything it will give people false hope for something that might not be in their attention for years to come.

To be completely fair, Customer Support and Technical Support section Blues reply to those thread at times (if not often).

But I get where you’re coming from.
As I stated on my first post, in my opinion you’re correct; EU General Section nowadays has too many trivial thread.
Perhaps because the game is slow since most are waiting for pre-patch and Shadowlands.

Sorry, I can never take you seriously again now I know you use Bing.
Not that I took you seriously to begin with.

They are not allowed to say anything apparently, and thus, since the devs don’t read the forums, what’s the point of having forums in the first place? And the funny part is that the GM’s here do absolutely nothing, because they wouldn’t even send an idea/complaint to the devs, so that the forums might function. I am not talking about whiny stupid threads, I am talking about threads that adress real problems, or make great suggestion. Is that not what the forums are all about?
Sure, why not, let the blues respond to silly threads, but if all they do is just writing silly replies and getting paid for it, thats a dream job! But that also means that the forums have no reason to exist.

I’m suspecting you used alts to like your own posts.

Or maybe people do really share his opinion. I personally do.

You’re assuming they don’t read it because they don’t reply. I think they read it, ocasionally :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

Why are you here? Why are we all here? It’s a place for the community to interact, have fun, raise certain issues regarding the game.

Some of us have more fun on the forums than actually playing the game. We think paying the sub to chat with random people around the world is worth the money. I can rarely go somewhere in real life and be able to nerd about WoW like I do here.

maybe they do, but he does it on a lot of his posts, maybe he feels it draws more attention, maybe it doesn’t, maybe it gives an unfair representation of players views, don’t think it helps anyone really.

How is that tin foil on your hat looking? Instead of blabbing so much, why don’t you just prove it? It should be easy to prove since my account is not hidden and you can compare achievements with the other “ALTs” of mine.

Let me know the results of your scientifically proven analysis, until then all you say is blabber and makes you look like a fool running around with a tin foil hat.

Funny thing is you are the one here with the hidden profile and your only two posts are comments on my posts saying the same thing. Projecting much?

The blue’s on these forums are not devs nor do they have a say on these issues: yet everything they say is Blizzard’s stance. That is why it can be difficult for them to really say anything. All they can really do is direct the feedback forward.

That should be obvious, it is so that the actually relevant discussions do not get derailed by “my issue is more important” spam such as this thread right here popping up in every single thread.
