Blizzard thread replies

It was in instanced PvP, in Ashran. There isn’t any latency issues when he’s not around in Ashran. Anyone that played against him will tell you the same thing. Everyone was complaining in the chat about this behaviour.

i think ive heard of this boxxer? is he ally? and i think all his names starts with an M?

Yes that’s him. He’s been doing it for a while now. This is not something that happens once in a while, I queued for three Ashran games last night and he was in two of them. Ended up wasting my whole night on him, having to wait 40 mins for each battleground to pop up.

Last I checked EU had a bigger player base than NA, I don’t know why they seemingly choose to ignore the forums.

Correct.
EU forums nowadays is a mere source of entertainment for some players or a place to complain about how unfair the game is with them without realizing it’s their fault they failed.

Until Blizzard allows multiboxing the issues (or better, exploits) will not stop.

If the Multiboxer broke one on those rule, then it could be ban; if not, Blizzard cannot do anything.
However, his behavior could be classified as griefing. If Blizzard decides to take action it would not be because he’s Multiboxing.

Yes, the Blue blizz posters on here are just forum janitors. The real devs are on the US forums and only sometimes. Most of the US blue posters are forum janitors too.

kornag, try adding a link of caylias posts to your battleground thread below your text.

Maybe if the thread gains traction it would go places.

The forum staff are not Devs, Devs rarely post on the US forum either but they are more likely to post on that forum than here if at all. Most blue posts on US are also forum staff. None of them can make decisions about, or changes to the game.

Anything said by a blue is quoted, interpreted, scrutinised etc. Every comment they make is used as a reference. If they get it wrong or say something in a way that can be twisted it bites them in the behind.

The forums are there for discussion, the CMs can pass things on to Devs. Short feedback can be left in game, cheating and disruption can be reported in game or via email. Beta has it’s own section on the forums for feedback.

It is good to highlight issues with multiboxers such as the one in battlegrounds, also mass herbing etc.

they have the instruction to stay away from controversial topics, and to not involve the company in any specific matter, or aknowledge any issue, they just have to engage the community in light/inconsequential topics, no more, no less.
I’m surprised they are actually blizz employees and not from some outsourced customer relations company.

A multiboxer cannot cause latency, tho.

Yes they can if they are running a number of scripts, which this one most likely is.

Here is a good and simple definition of latency I found online:

“Latency, measured as ping, refers to the average total time that it takes your gaming device to send data to the game server, and back to your device. Latency is measured in milliseconds (ms) so if your ping is 100ms then it takes 100 milliseconds for your computer to respond to a request from the game server.”

This person is sending massive amount of data to the game server and back due to the amount of scripts which he is most likely running and hence causing massive amounts of latency in the instance, or in whichever part of the game he is running them.

but best mounts is important… best mount is draenei btw.

Community managers do forward forum feedback, but they dont respond to it, because quite frankly it falls on deaf ears. In the end, the devs decide whether to act on feedback or not.

Besides, players always exaggerate blue posts as "confirmed " and draw their own conclusions anyway.

Still, personally I think that if CM’s dont interact with feedback in the player community, then their job and potential is pointless

What kind of scripts are they running that affect your internet connection as well?

Let me clarify my question, what kind of scripts are they running which affect you?

No one except Blizzard knows what scripts he runs, all I know is they affect anyone that’s in the same instance as him because of what I said earlier.

Oh right you mean macros etc.?

oh, it’s you again, using 40 alts to upvote your posts doesn’t really count as good attention.
