Got home from work, started up the insane queue for Gehennas, 160 min, fixed food and other stuff, got in after roughly 140 min get to play for 3 min, get DCed then after 5 min in loading screen straight to the back of the queue, another 140 min waiting time.
U’ve promoted this expansion for soooo long and got ppl hyped then when the pre patch arrives u dont know how to handle all the ppl coming back to play.
A company as big as Blizzard continuously keep failing on new releases and aint up for the pressure they them self promote for months before!
Feels like no effort is made by them to fix this just hope ppl get tired and jump to dead servers and fix the problem for them.
We pay you! it aint a free to play game…

You play on overpopulated realm durin prepatch launch. Dont complain.

The choices right now are either 1: Sit in queues and deal with insane lag for the start of the expansion or 2: play on a server thats likely going to die for all of wrath or 3: play on a low pop server at launch and then pay for a transfer (or multiple because lets be honest, who plays only 1 character…). All bad choices if you ask me

There isnt single low pop realm at this moment. So your chances ending up on low pop realm is very low and you will propably just have free transfer anyway.
so what? we paid for it, why should we wait in q for 2h? why is it lagging? why dc? i cant talk to a npc in game!
just because its overpopulated? where is the hardware upgrade? what is blizzard is doing with all the money they are receiving?

I want to play on a fresh start server. There is a 9500 people queue. I don’t play on an overpulated realm, I play on a completely new realm.

Can I sue Blizzard? I can’t login and they dont give me WoTLK Classic, it doesn’t even have RDF. I want my money back.

Whilst I’m sure there could potentially be a way to argue they aren’t able to provide the service you’re paying for, the sneaky way they’ve done it, this will be seen as an ‘extra’ on top of the base game which you are actually paying for. Thus, you wouldn’t get far. After all we don’t pay for WoTLK, we pay for a normal Sub which includes WoTLK (Classic)
this seems like the case, sadly blizz found the rat way out once more. but the good news is if everyone cancels their sub in protest maybe the queue will decrease, with the hidden upside of also making microsoft more likely to fire some of blizz when they finish taking over
Honestly, I hope Microsoft end up whipping them into shape, but sadly, I don’t think that will be the case. Whilst they may incorporate some of Microsofts values, I doubt it’ll be anything huge given that it’s such a cash cow.
We can dream, but every dream ends with waking up to the harsh reality. It’s still Blizzard, with their existing employees.

You choose to be on a overpopulated server. Many complain about the same thing but they chose to move to big servers. I dont know if you moved to yours or not, but one has a choice, move to a midlevel server og suffer logg in ques…

Fresh realms (Thekal at least) have the exact same problem. It still says “recommended” on the population part in the realmlist. Blizz Reccomends sitting with 8k people in queue.

All the choices your wrote are correct, whoever who the hell has time to play multible characters nowadays? Like it takes so much time and efforts to level up (imagine now without the 50% exp boost gone) and thereafter endless dungeon grind, watching LFG chat endlessly to join hc dungeons etc etc etc… Like it’s gonna take way more time than normally to get gear faster when wotlk comes fully out.
Yeah don’t complain when he is paying for a service (gametime) which in turn should give him the rights to play the game throughout all hours (besides when its weekly reset) like this argument is so rottenly bad. It’s not even the first time it’s happened like this and it’s so incomprehensible how badly they do things in their company…
Go play PVE server or play at nigth, or play classic servers, you literally have 3 options, if you want to play on fresh PVP server without queues, you have to be #nolife and thats TOTALLY fine
8000+ queues its okay, thats even good because it’s restrict from people who anyway will drop this game as fast as possible
