Blizzard why do you keep ignoring reports about FULL premades in epic bgs?

This is the funniest thing I’ve read all expansion. Thank you. Truly, thank you.

P has a trial for the community? For what? For clicking enter or abandon when they want to dodge another community? What a joke.

the race to maintain rank 1 world honor lvl is hard you know, all these x1 honor farms at gy arent for nought

When have you seen Pandora community dodge another community? As far as I have seen, it is always the opposite.

The purpose of playing PvE raids on farm status is to enjoy possibly useful loot while socializing with your fellow raiders. The A.I opponents you farm aren’t actual people unlike in epic bgs.

Epic bgs on the other hand are an open ended competition between two teams. All the fun comes from seeing which side can play the objectives better and win the match. Every time you play epic bgs in a premade raid, 40 people in the opponent team and a few in your own (because it is way too easy and there is nothing to do) are having a miserable time. Congratulations.

The key is to organize your team. A raid leader has many options. Raid warnings, floating raid marks etc. I queue up for epic bgs with an average group size of 3 and win 80% of them. Tell people which base to attack, tell them at which location they should regroup, call for a recall with insignia to save your base in alterac. You can take on very important tasks like destroying glaives yourself or with the small group of friends you take with you into the round.
This is how you organize your team without being oppressive and ruining the game for others.

They complain about you effectively cheating the queue system, rigging the game in your favor with a near insurmountable unfair advantage in the form of superior communication and coordination and also control over group composition. Nobody likes a rigged competition. You wouldn’t call it cheating, I would, many others here would.

Imagine you take part in the olympic games and your opponent steals the gold medal from you and you know for a fact that he is under the influence of blood doping. Would you be upset? What you do massively hurts the integrity of the competition.

I wonder why you need queue syncing then as opposed to just going alone or making a small group and spontaneously coordinating with other team members from the community who are also in the round. Might have something to do with the fact your winrate might plummet very hard if you tried to do that.

Start with yourself and start following the rules. Specifically the 5 man rule.
I doubt you would be able to reach rival in the current season in any bracket when you don’t have your 25 best friends with you and no uncoordinated scrubs to slaughter. You’re not good yourself. You’re just a bully.

To attract players, just overload the bracket with rewards. How about 5000 honor and 500 conquest for winning the first round a day? half of that for every subsequent win. And decent consolation prizes if you put up a good fight and reduced the opponents reinforcement tickets to 1/3 and still lost. It would be the go to bracket for those who want to cap pvp resources and increase their honor level quickly. If you go through all the effort of coordinating 35 people, it should pay off.

In addition to that, unique mounts and titles. Something like “the Strategist” to reflect both the large scale warfare and coordinated nature of epic bgs would be fitting. The mounts could simply be a recolor like the red vicious goblin trike spray painted green. done.

There clearly is a niche for coordinated large scale pvp warfare in this game, premade raid streamers wouldn’t be getting any attention if there wasn’t, but it isn’t being properly served yet.

While I understand the sentiment of some premade raid players that they don’t like incompetent, lazy and clueless players in their epic bg teams, (I feel the same way, which is why I always take one or two reliable friends who play objectives into the round),

I am of the opinion that most of them are indeed cowards who like to have easy wins against teams that aren’t remotely as coordinated as them. They would absolutely avoid this new bracket and keep pestering random epic bg players. To prevent this, I would simultaneously introduce measures to prevent queue syncing that currently enables premade raids. I like Samcruels idea of a queue decline penalty that increases. I also wouldn’t mind if in random epic bgs you were randomly assigned to a team, with small groups being kept intact in the same team. Premade raids could not get all their 5 man groups into the same team even if they get into the same round.

The future of PvP is factionless. We are heading ever closer in that direction. You can make mixed teams for RBGs, Blitz is completely factionless, mercing exists and so on. They can abolish factions for PvP gameplay as far as I am concerned. It’s not like I am already competing for the alliance 20% of the time.

My idea is to give premade raid enjoyers a proper bracket where they can do what they want in a fair competition against an equal team while simultaneously stopping them from harassing random epic bg players.

Agreed.

And it’s a good one.
I’d like to see your idea flourish.
I just struggle to.

The excuses these premades come up with makes me want to puke. “Oh if we could make the BG end quicker we would”. Well no you don’t. Just last night you plebs farmed the GY in WSG when you could have capped the flag three times without any hassle. As I said, degenerate behaviour.

Then show Blizzard what you think of it and stop playing, vote with your wallet.

Fundamentally, quitting a game as a protest, urging others to “vote with your wallet,” is a foolish oversimplification. Unfortunately, this futile notion fails to grasp the intricacies of corporate dynamics and the gaming industry’s complexities.
Choosing to disengage without a nuanced understanding of the issues reflects intellectual laziness and a lack of strategic insight.

Yet, your insistence on this simplistic strategy is unsurprising.
Your overconfidence in the impact of individual player actions demonstrates a myopic view of corporate influence and consumer dynamics.
Your misguided belief in the efficacy of a “mass” player exodus underscores a lack of sophistication in your understanding of complex systems.
Ultimately, your proposed solution is a testament to the inadequacy of your intellectual toolkit.

Honestly why not just play rated bgs? If these premades don’t dare step into rated BGs, then just queue into low rated bgs instead, like low cr daily wins it’s honestly much more evenly matched!

cuz they said “rated bgs arent fun” which u can imagine it means

a)in rated bgs u play vs other premades

b)in rated bgs the amount of casuals is way less than norms

which all in all means no free wins in rated bgs

anyway what fistus said probably the only solution “penantly when you decline the queue” like league of legends has if u decline some queues in a row u get 5min ban from all queues

@Catharsis I admire your iron will to keep queuing for EBGs despite the current mess. I have effectively stopped queuing for them myself for the sake of my sanity as Blitz offers far better returns for your time.

The lack of confidence in your own abilities must be enormous in the people if they are so scared to play without all their best geared, FOTM pals . I mean, imagine being so scared to lose a computer game, nerdragers of the highest order.

blablabla it’s close to 2024 and Blizzard hasn’t listened to your endless whining about others not playing how you want them to play. Maybe it’s time to quit or stop crying.

I long for the day that unrated PvP becomes cross-faction so that your premade communities can scatter to the four winds and hopefully leave the game completely in order for the PvP community to begin the regenerating process.

Not sure if that was supposed to be @me?
I’m not seeking to avoid premades (I rarely face them).

Others could perhaps play rated to avoid premades, but for those with limited time & skill, it’s often easier / quicker to just login & queue Random. Plus we don’t get to use gliders, pots & buffs etc in Rated.
Seeking refuge in Rated may work for some (may even revive Rated), but it wouldn’t solve ‘the problem of premades’ for the rest.

Seems like your response is packed with more ego than insight. Telling people to quit or stop crying is a classic move from the “I’ve got nothing smart to say” playbook.

It’s 2024, and Blizzard hasn’t tuned into the whining symphony? Well, maybe it’s time to crank up your empathy settings. Quitting might be an option, but dismissing valid concerns as whining just makes you sound like you’re out of your depth. Try diving a bit deeper, champ. You might find there’s more to the game than your one-sided playbook.

Do not even care about the premade i just hate the bots but seems nobody cares

People like Linaori are too dumb and too selfish to see the bigger picture.

Because people may just do what she suggests; quit.

Something a lot of PvPers have already done.

I somehow think that it won’t be popular at all, though. The sole reason for people to make premades is to stomp noobs. They /afk out when they face another premade.

We already have wargames, and, no one ever uses them.

Eventually Blizzard will have to come up with a plan since they are receiving many feedbacks regarding how to improve PvP unfortunately though, it is something that we have to wait, It might be a whole new bracket, or it might just be cross faction, or something completely different like a possible a solo ranked Battlegrounds (Not the blitz one).

It is a matter of time whenever Blizzard announces a new change for the PvP mode of this game, but the best thing we can do as a community is to come up with a valid idea and provide the feedbacks to Blizzard.
