Bikini is the name of an atoll where nuclear bomb was tested. That test has contaminated nearby islands and indigenous people that live on them. Basically it’s a crime scene.
Some moron decided that it would be ‘cool’ to name swim-wear after that explosion. In a sense: swim-wear that will make men’s libido explode like nuclear bomb on a Bikini atoll.

I gave one example, I shouldn’t have because people will then hyper focus on what it means in other places or that there are different spellings. Literally the first thing that shows on google for the name is a concentration camp. Some names clearly want to push something or be offensive. But sure let them hide behind no its just the place I named it after not the whole meaning behind it. No in my language it has meaning X or Y meaning and I clearly wanted to use the japanese name for Ostrich truly. Come on man what is more likely.
I see lots of N symbolism going around in the game. But apparently for this is not an issue. Maybe the issue is not in the censoring of Blizzard after all but a feature for the player base of the game.

If you really can’t see why there may be a problem with Dachau…
here’s a very short history lesson from someone who studied it extensively.
Dachau concentration camp was the first such camp to be set up by the NSDAP in 1933 in Munich when they were democratically given power. Originally it was staffed by the SA who used it as a crude “re education” camp for political opponents of the NSDAP. When the SA was dismanelted and control given to the SS Himmler appointed Theodor Eicke to re organize Dachau. Eicke set up the standard of concentration camp discipline and general punishment of prisoners which would be commonly used in all concentration camps until the system changed more concentration camps to extermination camps.
Now. If you really think that isn’t a bit of a problem, why not make a character with the name of a certain place that begins with “A”.

Seriously, look up how to say “the end” or “finished” or “speed” or “bun” or “dot” or “point” or “go away” or “whole” (that one isn’t gonna be too offensive to people here, it means whole but pronounces as hell)

And I think it’s important. Now I know the OP said they were Germans, but he actually got the spelling wrong and so…
it’s very easy to assume someone is trying to offend with their names when it’s often just ignorance.
Other times though… yeah it does happen, but I think it’s more often an accident. We don’t have that many letters after all.
Or ask fin if theyre finished and they might make joke of it 
I wonder how OP knew they were Germans. did they state they were, were they speaking German? Or did OP just assume?
There are German realms. That might’ve helped the investigation…

Could be ppl playing on other nationality realms than their native too but yeah usually when I see french realms I assume they are french, all in a days work 
In fairness I did play on a German realm for 4 months and it moved me from a E grade in German to an A. Teacher was absolutely shocked. XD WoW is an insanely good language teacher if you know just a little bit of it already.
Still, the OP didn’t even get the name of the camp right, and it’s also not a terribly well known one of them. Shows how easily someone can be offended. And I mean I’ve got Israeli friends in WoW and I’m pretty sure none of them would be offended over Dachou. Probably not even Dachau. So like… we should maybe all just chill a bit.

100% agree. One of the biggest problems with the world today is people getting offended by words so easily and crying on the internet about it. We need to move away from this cancel-culture garbage.
