Haha, sounds like you were having fun though

I always wondered how those groups of people ended up in groups. I figured they went to uni together or something, but then I figured that the charvs probably didn’t.

Most people just went down there and made friends in all honesty, it was a good group mostly other than the occasional child groomer and stuff

It sounds like it was a blast and I wish I had got involved!

I went to Trillians a few times (I think that’s how you spell it) but never spent much time in town apart from the odd clubbing night. I mostly stuck to South Shields.

Trillians was awesome I’ve lost a lot of my life in there through intoxication :joy:

I have to agree to some extent with this thread. People have already pointed out that it’s Dachau, not Dachou. But some non-English names definitely need another look at. Last week, I saw someone named ‘Bitecul’ which, unless it’s a coincidence, literally means ‘D1ck a$$’ in French. Seriously, come on Blizzard.

The concentration campThe OP was referring to is spelled ‘Dachau’, not ‘Dachou’

‘Dachou’ is how the Japanese spell â€˜é§éł„â€™ using Western characters. Dachou actually means ‘Ostrich’ Not saying that was the player’s intention in this case, but as other people have pointed out, it’s entirely possible.

It’s easy to jump to conclusions, make assumtions, get the wrong end of the stick etc, especially if you’re actively looking for a target for ‘rightous indignation’ or for something to declare ‘offensive’.

In my experience, it’s far wiser to ask questions and do a bit of research (took me literally three minutes) before ‘cancelling’ pontetially perfectly innocent people.

If the first thing you think of when encountering German players is the Holocaust, WWII, and/or fascist regimes, maybe you need to examine your own motivations, attitudes and stereotypes before throwing accusations around.

I think I got you but if not, I guess I’ll have a new random friend on Discord :joy:

I was replying to the OP - now it looks to have turned into a completely different discussion lol

That is always going to be a top-tier name for an elf.

*post removed for mentioning people use the names of bad people that do bad things to children

Didn’t even use the word that is used to describe these people, only word I used was maybe the word esss eee xxx

Does that word tilt people/not allowed here, suppose it might be a touchy subject for some basement dwellers

not sure anyway

GG blizz keep up the good work lol hide posts that flag your inability to stop idiots naming there characters after famous beasts

You know what, I agree with you. I confused Ostrich with Crane. I googled it again, and it seems really weird, that someone would name himself after ostrich in japanese. I’m an anime fan, and I don’t know of any references to Ostriches in Anime. I know, that cranes are a very common symbol, but not Ostriches. So I think you’re right actually. It’s weird.

Don’t worry, I did the same mistake. We can be weirdos together.
