In what world do you live in where there is 0 damage in a mythic+ with bursting affix up. Are you actually trolling?
It’s actually insane how far some people will go to delude themselves to avoid improving at the game, so they can continue playing poorly. Plain and simple, cut and dry, if you open up your Details and see that a DK has outhealed you in overall healing throughout a M+ dungeon on a moderately high key you have issues.
Period.
Bursting is usually not on the healing meters though. Because it is out of combat 
How much to heal is there on a +8 otherwise than the tank anyway. When the tank can do it himself, you just go dps too.

Especially in lower keys (idk, under 10?) the group may take close to no damage. When you have a tank whose mitigation is completely reliant on self-healing then obviously he will come close or go over the healer in plain numbers.
As long as the group doesn’t die (major personal failures from them not included, f.e. if they stand in a cleave or sanguine) you are doing fine.
By now I look more at whether they (healers) do damage during the low damage-taken periods.
Heck, even “damage taken” is more useful than the HPS stats.
I wasn’t talking about bursting Did I mention that anywhere? I was talking about healing in general, and the numbers in mythic. The op was talking about a +5 to +8… if the tank can heal him-/herself like a dk there’s simply nothing to heal and you can dps.

Edit/p.s.: ive seen bdk’s do 50-55k healing over a dungeon, when its not bursting, depending on the dungeon, a healer doesnt have to go over that amount of healing.
Did 40k on my alt last week,and am not even mediocre bdk + lack of proper trinkets.Some people are eager to attack Op and didn’t even bother to inspect him or look screenshot .He did 30k hps with 435 gear which is more than good

Yes it does. Although, I do know a lot of bad players who’ve continued to be bad for 10+ years because they’re deluded and assume that when they play bad it’s their class and gear, not them being bad.

What ilvl was the DK? If he was way higher than you, then he’d be doing more healing because he’s got super high health. At similar or equal ilvl you should have no problem outhealing him easily.
You’ve done absolutely nothing in-game achievements-wise to show that you have any form of idea what you’re talking about. I would go out on a limb and say you don’t even play holy or disc.
The fact you came in, called me obnoxious, then told me I’m clueless (Pot calling the Kettle black) especially when I clearly HAVE had some form of high end raiding, rank 1 parses, pug dungeons instead of guilding, (less organised, harder to get decent groups) and done high end RBGs and Arena… I have higher experience, thus why I gave him advice.
I’m sorry you get rubbed up the wrong way when someone literally just states facts. I’m not entirely proud of them, but when someone goes “you’re clueless” and you show evidence as to why you’re probably not clueless…if that makes me overly confident, then suck it I guess?
