Blood-Infusion Help Needed

Hello everyone,
I have this level 80 Warrior and I really want to get him Shadowmourne, but I’m sort of stuck on the Quest Blood-Infusion.
I’ve tried it before without much preparation and it didn’t go well.
At the moment I think I figured it out, and now I just need some help.
Basically I’m asking if there are any volunteers?

Quick overview of my strategy:
Can be done with 4 or 5 people.
-Myself the Warrior
-A paladin to tank/ taunt the boss and heal (Blessing of Kings)
-A priest to give me helpful buffs and heal (Stamina/ Absorb shield/ Pain Sup)
-A Warlock/ Shaman as death fodder.
-A fifth person just for safety measures.

Here’s how it will go down:
Blood-Queen Lana’thel, Icecrown Citadel 25 Player Normal
Buff up, the Priest will give me a Powerword Shield, followed up by Pain Suppression. After that I will immediately engage the boss. When Pain Sup runs out, I will use Shield Wall/ Last Stand. I will need to survive 15 seconds before she casts Vampiric Bite. (now I dont know how much damage i will be taking during this time, probably a good idea to start casting heals after a few seconds. I should have enough aggro by then. All other players should just stand afk in the back.) I should be the one receiving the bite. When I get bitten, I will call that out and the Paladin will immediately taunt the boss and use taunt on cooldown, 1 or 2 attacks to make sure he’s got all the aggro. When that’s settled I just need to survive, so lots of heal spam. There is an ability called Delirious Slash, which 1-shotted me in Arms spec on heroic difficulty. So I need to make sure I lose all my aggro and stand furthest away. I will bite the Shaman/ Lock, then they need to die and ress/ Then again. Once I’ve bitten three players we can kill the boss.
Now when It doesnt go as planned on the start, and I will not be the one who gets bitten, the person who did get the bite will need to bite me. After that he will need to die, or killed when he gets mind controlled. When I’ve received that bite the fight will continue normally as previously described.

I’m planning on doing it this evening, and if that doesn’t happen somewhere before the next reset.

I did this with a few guildies a week or two ago and it’s harder than you’d think.
Most people are probably way higher level than your 80 so one little mistake on the Mind Controlled person and (s)he kills you.

If you get enough people to do this I’ll gladly help you out as the final player you’d need. I’ll keep an eye on this topic to see if you need me good luck with finding more people

Uh… so I could be wrong here, but it sounds like you’re making it too complicated and even messing it up for yourself. You don’t need to tank her for any part of this. You stand on the tank to get Blood Mirror, and then someone takes over that job once you have Gushing Wound.

Then you just need to be the player highest on threat without being the actual tank or the Blood Mirror offtank and you’ll get the first bite. It goes on the highest threat player who ISN’T her aggro target or has Blood Mirror, which you don’t because someone took it over from you.

You tanking the boss is a great way to ensure you don’t get bitten
