While I understand you, I don’t agree with you. There are tools out there to help with your problem, you should use them instead of making illegit claims of spamming, taking away the Game Masters time for tasks that are more pressing and important. The report spam feature was intended to use on people who are making a problem in chat by spamming, not people using the chat for what it was made for.

wait i meant reporting spamms when i see the same person keep spamming its advertisment in less then a minute more then 10 times thats a spam for sure.

No this kind of obnoxious spamming advertisement has been going on before the WoW tokens. In case you don’t remember the chinese gold sellers.

It was much worse than the current boosting sellers. At least on my server if i block one boost seller i wont see him again for another few weeks (until he makes another lvl 1 char)

The best way to deal with this kind of spam would be bringing back restrictions for using the chat. So not every person can make a lvl 1 and continue the spam after your other char got ignored/muted

there’s already a restriction on trade chat, we dont need more. :joy:

best solution would be letting boosts be advertised in LFG again/or as a separate channel

When I read a flame on the legitimate booster community I instantly remember this character:

The only benefactors of removing the gold runners from trade chat are cash runners.
My trade chat is very calm, so on my half-alive server a wild booster ad in a proper /2 chat is more like a sign of life xD

Think the best way would be to limit who can spam in trade,characters that are lvl 20,and preferebly have an active sub.That way Blizzard double wins,they push the MAU by making the guys lvl,and they also have to buy sub for that account.

Don’t cover behind others back. If you are jelly someone sells mythic plus runs go for it, complaining that others earn legit money is what makes you a cuck.

BTW you can be a cuck even with all achievements in WoW, if you are triggered that others can earn a lot of gold with a small effort. And you still can’t make it and broke af.

Mythic run seller is a Chad, he has a decent Rio, reliable friends to run with, he can carry newb and he is able to advertise and compete with others for a gold.

Forum complainer is a beta, he may have Rio, but no friends to earn gold together, he can’t tolerate newbs mistakes, he is to shy to advertise and compete with the boys. But to realize his anger and jealousness he goes to safe space forum.

Selling gold is reportable and was and still is against the rules. People were right to report them.

If you are silenced I don’t think you can create a new character to advertise because the silence is applied to your account not to your character. I might be confusing the bnet part though.

For vast majority of players this game is not about earning gold. Real alphas earn gold in rl.
