How does this fix anything? This seems like a lazy solution to a problem without fixing the problem.
- Guilds can still sell boosts. With no more communities blocking their offers, nothing will prevent them to place their offers in Trade-Chat and Groupfinder. Especially on high pop-servers.
- High pop servers will most likely have the same boosting adverts, just done by the guilds now.
- Low pop servers will be even more dead, as they have no guilds/groups capable of boosting.
This solves nothing, while it hurts low pop servers as usual.

I want to remind you about this happening twice before. One time in Trade chat and one time in the LFG tool. Both ceased to be rather quickly.
They will find loopholes and it will return to the obnoxious spam.
It will fix nothing, only make dead realms more dead.

You may wave for a long time then. I already know what i can do and what i cant do. Boosting for a community is not allowed. Boosting people from Tarren Mill for Gold on Tarren Mill by advertising for it myself in or by anyone from my guild in the name of my guild in Tarrens Trade chat however is. As was explicitly stated by Kaivax.

I have to say that while I did find the advertising annoying it would have been easier to push it into its own channel. The services did not harm the game and it will stop many from experiencing both endgame content and legacy for a nominal fee given the number of players that were needed to support the desired reward. This seems like a lot of work designed to penalise a lot of players because a few were offended by /2 or because there was not a /services channel

Them adding the authenticator to post groups in lfg, sure made less of those throw away accounts listin/advertising.And i know the changes,since ive been paying attention to it in legion and bfa(making threads about the spam in lfg)

Its neither secret nor a loophole. It is explicitly stated by Kaivax. Not to mention that i can contact Kaivax directly if i have any doubt.

as soon as it is discovered that the same communites are using that method instead to continue practise what do you think will happen … more limitations on what players can or cant do …

I have enough gold to cover me for ages. Also i have all gathering professions so i can just farm what i need. Not to mention i am one of the people that continuously complained about the spam in trade and lfg myself so, again, spare me your low tier trolling twiggz.

Not only did boosting communities provide a way for boosters to book boosts without spamming in-game but they also protected the buyers from boosters doing shady stuff.
Now sellers have to go spam themselves and buyers won’t be protected in case the seller decides to just run off with the gold.
