Boosting Communities are forbidden

People were already complaining about the amount of advertising. Imagine now when everyone looking to boost have to advertise themselves.

Hahah it didn’t took too long for trade chat to go back to circle jokes  :man_facepalming:

So good, these people that corporatise player interaction have really killed a lot of the banter and social aspect of trade chat and other chats, it will be nice to see them gone.

Guilds and individual players should still be able to trade services 1:1 with buyers, that’s part of the economy of an MMO, but this third party stuff was a cancer that should’ve been dealt with a long time ago.

So people will complaing again and maybe blizzard will ban those people ?
but in a long term this is a very good change so stop being mad and celebrate

The amount of people who now get incentive and ability to progress on their own pace and the whole casual world that can spring up from banning this behaviour is far larger and far more interesting than what is lost GUARANTEED.

Call me an idiot or whatever but I dont like this at all. For me this was the best way to get up an alt, I was not buying a boost and AFK, I always played with my alts during the boost runs and I knew what to do.

These communities provided a good service and with their systems like asking if the gold collector is real or not there was a very little chance of getting scammed, but even then people got scammed.

Now there is no way anymore to check if someone who will offer boosts as a private person is scamming you or not and I am pretty sure that more people will get scammed after this change.

With that in mind I will for sure not buy boosts anymore with my alt, but with people only inviting 2,3k+ Mythic+ ratings into 15 Keys and not even looking up if someone is an alt or not playing an alt now will become even worse for sure

Then it wasn’t a boost run. Stop paying gold for things you can just do.

If people ask for achi just link your main.

and i am telling you that what is allowed is always subject to change. given the circumstances call for it… you can shout from the roof tops that it wont stop anything…

and i ask that you please do continue to do so as it just makes it easier to detect these things and deal with them accordingly … all in the name of a more fun and fair game as was intended before this mayhem of boosting.

my personal main takeaway of this is that blizzard themselves have now taken a offical stance on the subject…

all they need to do now it enforce it… and if people decide they want to flout the rules then i hope blizzard act upon them accordingly in time…

its not a cure… but it is a first step to a cure.

I mean im quite sure that a lot of the boosters will simply seize to boost. Namely the lower level ones.

You have a weird conception of what mad is.

They dont just edit. If they edit its also followed with another blue post that points towards edits.

Literally doesn’t matter.
As long as it is enforced and iterated upon.
This is one of the best decisions they’ve had in the last 5 years.
