Boosting Communities are forbidden

If everything was done ingame chat then they do react…this is why alot of boost comm use discord,so that there is no oversight from blizzard, and it is opened for more shady things.I had a discusion with a gm about this back in legion…and he said if the discusions are in game then the gm interven since they can back track everything inside the game.

Yeah i get it i know what you mean but its not the norm for her to say things like that .
She really is nice and helpful and believe me ,me and her have falling out many times but its not personal and she is helpful and respectul just people like that warrior need to be talked down to at times.
Anyway this is all off topic thats get back to that

I could not be happier. People actually play the game now, so getting my alts geared will mean not paying someone 200k for it! Can actually play with people again.

People losing gold to boosters are idiots for doing it in the first place no matter who the are. Don’t play the game if you’re going to pay others to basically carry you through it.

That is your take and thats fine. However its bound to happen as it happened often enough already prior to the rise of boosting communities. The removal of master loot is something that arose from a similar issue.

i get that and i apologise to you both for my part in it.

sometimes i get little carried away myself on subjects i am pretty passionate about and stand behind.

It did happen, but nothing to the scale of this expansion, and it exploded even more this tier.

Blizzard again applying a ragged Elastoplast to a dismembered limb and saying to themselves “whew… nick of time…”

that wording of the post is so bad in terms of clarity.
is it allowed for guilds/independent groups to boost crossrealm?
what is with premad m+ groups, that make use out of crossrealm, because they have different guilds on different realms, are they allowed to boost?
and if i want to buy a boost, how do i verify not getting scammed? going to the wow market discord and check the rep of the guild or is that also considered a community?
that just makes ppl scare to play with friends if they got a lower score/gear/experience/whatsoever because maybe the blizz tools detect it as illegal boost, even i pug it

You’re getting schooled in basic comprehension by someone who isn’t speaking their first language.

How utterly embarrassing.

I know you think you’re winning the Internet - thanks for the entertainment.

This has pretty much no influence as far as raid boosting goes.

Each individual guild will simply create their own boosting section on their respective discord pages.

As for M+, it might have some effect at first, but eventually people will find a way to bend the rules no doubt.

Good change.

You have no idea. Those “communities” were entire multinational companies who employ people and use them as subordinates and only pay them indirectly and they sell products with real cash on their websites.

The impact will be extreme; the spam also less; I remember before them where you could at least read the /2 text sometimes.

Umm… it never started to be honest…

fair enough

I really welcome this change.

Nah, the vast majority of raid boosting was/is done by guilds, not by random players. The boosting communities merely organised it for the guilds and found the players to be boosted. Hence why it wont have a particularly big impact on raid boosts. Guilds can easily do this themselves on their own discord pages without being penalised.

M+ is a different matter, because the group of boosters was often made up of people from different guilds on different realms.

It still impacts the mechanisms of spamming, guilds aren’t going to be spamming dozens of realms at the same time. New players may not know but /2 actually used to be usable even if boosting existed especially if the realm wasn’t gigantic.
