Boss Loot Tables

I’ve been wondering how for example the guy from Atlas Loot knows which items are divided into which section of the loot table?

For example in BWL Razorgore there’s 1 section with all the T2 bracers, that seem to compete only amongst each other for dropping. Then the other section with Hunter and Warlock Class Trinkets. And finally the third section with 4 more items.

So how does it work? Clearly not always 1 item from every section drops. Is it guaranteed that 1 item drops from the first section and then the other sections have a chance to drop on top? How does one know what that chance then is?

I guess it’s all empirical guesswork.

Probably what this guy said. Blizzard doesn’t reveal drop rates etc like Jagex does for their game so all we can do is guess.
Edit: or do they on retail maybe?

Pretty basic rolls.

Razorgore drops 100% 2x bracers, so 2 rolls are being done on the bracer table to decide what bracer will drop.

Then a 3rd roll is done on his other items.
We dont know for sure how the roll works, if its a set drop chance for the items so its a single 1-100 roll, or if there are divided in 2 or 3 drop tables so you first roll on what table, then which item in that table

Still not as bad as waiting on drop for months on your main, for it to drop on your alt, 1st time. Talk about getting shafted…
