haha, I quit day 1 of BFA. I hated the direction the game went in and refuse to play it.
I think I will just sell my gaming pc and go on Holiday or something

Nearing level 30 with my warlock in classic, and starting to feel the same thing. Retail is too easy and just a dressed-up pachinko machine, while classic reminds me why I stopped playing MMO’s for years once I quit it before TBC. It’s too cumbersome and repetitive eventually, and I’ve got better things to do.
Roll a shaman or a mage.
Then don’t play?
It’s a game not a slave labour camp, you’re free to stop whenever you like…
OP sounds like you’re all WoW’d out! Sound like you are an old skool WoW player and you’ve done everything. Myself I am enjoying classic WoW its the game i remember from 10-15 years ago. I stopped playing because life n job n stuff! I know have more time so its cool to pick up where I left off and I actually have time to play now. I tried retail WoW about 3-4 years ago and the dungeon queues, help hints and spoon feeding didn’t appeal to me. I’m sure I’ll bore of classic eventually but I’m basically a newbie and loving the experience so far and I like the difficulty.
I have cancelled my sub by the way, just wanted to get a bit more use out of my £10
Classic is boring as hell, if you don’t set your own goals.
In retail Blizzard made it so that the endgame is repeatable, through M+ and the like because there is nothing else worth doing outside of that, in Classic the endgame is well, the end, you do it once and thats that.
I too miss the early 2010s era WoW where everything, Professions, Dungeons, Raids, PvP, Reps, etc were all relevant, but right now it’s the choice between Classic: An old school MMORPG, or Retail: a hack n slash looter game
Maybe one day we can go back to having the mechanical complexity of Cata/MoP while still retaining the MMORPG core that Classic offers, but until then try other games, maybe you just need to find another genre entirerly to release some burnout.
Try an FPS or a strategy game or something that gets you thinking in different ways
Just /quit
there is more in queue to play…
Thats exactly it, classic is alright and was great to begin with. Now I run 60% of the time, auto attack with slice and dice up 20% of the time and afk the remaining 20%.
I too WISH that we could have the complexity and skill cap as we did in Cata/MOP but with the whole MMO grind as we did in Classic.
Running around, auto attacking is not fun and is basically Runescape.
Ryallock - I have already cancelled my sub and I dont login to play anymore
Well there you go, hold your thumbs that Blizzcon brings you something you want and if not, move on from WoW
Classic is pretty bad, BFA is just 100x worse
To me, it sounds as if you’re simply “wow’ed out” at this point.
I was in the same position as you a few years back. Felt absolutely no motivation to log in and the second I started uttering the phrase “I have to do XYZ” I logged out.
I do stuff in a game because I WANT to. If stuff suddenly starts feeling like a chore instead of an obstacle to overcome, then it’s probably time to take a break.
Its just so boring, combat as rogue is sinister strike, sinister strike, slice and dice, autoattack (Energy starved) Target dies before I have enough energy to use combo points.
Oh, I’ve pulled 2 at 50% hp and I have a dot on me so cant vanish. I will wait until I die.
Ok bye
10!
Maybe you should pull more carefully or wait till you’re not on low health before engaging in a fight? This seems like common sense…?
You can’t just faceroll as many mobs as you want.
