As title says bots have already started flooding the AH and the few actual ppl gathering are getting scammed by sniper bots. Once again blizzard did nothing against bots and not only that but the EA helped bots a lot which lets be honest EA was made for them so that they would sell the game to them more expensive and also to help actual not bottleneck proffesions from materials at launch. its a win win for blizzard and another decision made to HELP bots
Do you got some screenshots of how bad it is? Like how many mats are already on the AH?
I’m seriously concidering skipping the launch and playing some warhammer total war 3 instead
And its less than 24h
What exactly is wrong with that screenshot? Did u expect flowers and ores we all get 100s of to go for 100g piece?
I mean, im all for going hard against bots, scripts and all…
But the economy seems to be ok, ppl in wow just go crazy minmaxing, most ppl i play with already have proffesions set and running orders, and it is what, 2nd day?
Damn that sucks , i was hoping to farm some gold the first few days. The prices arent that extremely low yet. But i expect it to drop more with bots and players farming more. When i start to play and get to farm stuff i already will have missed out on the best prices.
Even more reason why i miss the ah being bound to one server. My server did not have that many bots. but now i got to compete with all bots from every server
with their paid advantage, this exactly is one of EA problems. A unfair economic advantage just like the bots flooding the ah already
leave the price… i am telling about the quantity
For some reason, the amount of materials doesn’t seem “absurd”.
Let’s suppose that the players are genuine farmers, and they gather something in the order of 50 materials per hour. Let’s say they played… 6 hours? So that’s 300 materials.
The sum of the quantities is around 1 million, maybe less. So 1000000 / 300 = 3333 farmers. This is quite logical amount of farmers who would opt for Early Access.
OP not understanding the principle of demand vs supply.
do you know what is the purpose of they AH? its to sell… not put them there and sit. That said they have sold way more than that and don’t forget that many ppl AND proffesion bots have already reach the max of their proffesions for now. And most PLAYERS bought it to play the campaign not only farm
You mean the supply wich is growing heavily because bots get to farm it for some days while the majority of people arent even in yet. Yeah surely this cant be affecting prices
Why do you think its bots? The spawn rate of flowers and mine are high, you assume its bots just because price has fallen?
because its region wide AH
It is not unfair, they play more, they started early, we all could do that.
Same story since we had realm first class titles and achievements really
yes but people started at the same time in the past, now people get to play earlier behind a 40 euro paywal. Wich gives them an unfair advantage. So they arent just playing more, because i got plenty of time to play as well. So i dont see how this is the same as class titles and achievements, because we used to have an even starting line before this expansion
And the biggest problem is bots abusing EA, not even the players. as the players dont farm 24/7.
There is not much on the AH concidering the AH is EU region wide now …
That screenshot says nothing.
You have a topic you want to whine about and you’ve just thrown a screenshot in that you somehow thinks proves it.
lol.
But who is gonna buy flowers that are abundant for 20g a piece?
op is not understanding that AH is region wide now thats his problem
Oh buhu. People not being able to make tons of virtual, meaningless gold in a virtual, meaningless product.
I would understand the mentality if it were the actual stock market IRL. But not a digital market in a video game.
Perhaps those people should stop seeing this game as a finance simulator then like most of us normal players?
