Bots... Bots everywhere

Hello,
Its getting rare to see actual players gathering herbs and ore
Every zone is covered with bots 24/7, sometimes multiboxer bots ( kinda ridiculous to blizz honestly, like how do you not catch a guy botting with 20 accounts 24/7 for weeks in a row? )
They create multiple accounts boost them to 110 and run the bots until they get banned. But until then, its millions of gold made within days that is transfered through AH high price items ( ex mounts ) so that the gold is not easy to trace and when banned Blizz cannot take that gold away from the guy who sold those items, because it is not his fault. Eventualy the botter re-sells the items, and keeps the millions of gold. I imagine this is how they do it, just like in real life, cleaning money (gold).
Economy in wow is dead, and this bot situation wont let it get back up.
Do something about this.
Its starting to feel like a coop game since 90% of the accounts gathering are bots.
Thank you

I myself report any that even feel slightly like bots. I can’t do anything else about it. Blizz doesn’t seem to do much about it either.

Just keep reporting. I guess it might eventually cause something.

Multiboxing several characters is not botting and is not prohibited by the Terms of Service. If you report multiboxers as bots, you are actually taking up people’s time and impacting their ability to combat actual bots.

I understand multiboxing, and there is nothing wrong with it.
I am talking about multiboxing and botting mixed together.

So you can distinguish a person multiboxing and a person botting while multiboxing just by glancing at their characters?

I imagine that’s a pretty unique talent, you should seek employment as a Blizzard GM yourself.

A slightly intelligent person understands that in a multiboxing scenario if the main character is botting, all others are because they are making the exact same actions.
That intelligent person… well its not you by far, dont comment if you only seek drama, there is TV for that.

I kinda feel this is partially hyperbole and partially paranoia because the only place I’ve seen bots is isle of thunder and only other place I know of there definitely bots is grim batol.

See, bots kinda need to rely on being undisturbed so if they are in nazjatar (which I’m guessing is what you are claiming here) they would be getting attacked by mobs a lot which prevents easy herbing, they can’t one shot those mobs.

I’ve just been herbing in low level zones (elwynn forest - stranglethorn vale) and there was definitely no bots about, or multi boxers.

Either you are seeing multiboxers and just shouting bot!!! Because you don’t know the difference or you are over exaggerating the issue.

However, let’s say you are correct and the place is crawling with bots all you can do is report them, giving as much detail as possible in the report about why they are bots - like how they are moving, not interacting even if you stand in their path and /dance, how long you watched them following the exact same path and the exact co-ordinates so blizzard can also find them and deal with it.

Last time I reported with that stuff the bots were gone within 24 hrs

Doesn’t matter at all if you are a druid and 99% of them are.

Thank you for the reply ^^ , low level zones are free of bots usualy, except pandaria for exemple where the always are a few bots gathering ghost iron. End game zones is where you find them, and its full of them, Nazjatar is one of this zones yes, not the most popular tho. I do understand multiboxing, and its not an issue at all, but when the multiboxer is botting, it is easy to notice.
They create multiple accounts boost them to 110 and run the bots until they get banned. Tbh I can’t say I’m seeing any in BFA zones either, no multi boxers or anything I’d suspect as botting and I do herb a lot on this character and my 120 hunter so I’d notice if I was struggling.

Just note the exact location and give as much details as possible in the report, include their behaviour and try to engage with them in silly ways - even use Lucille a sewing needle on them to see how/if they react and include that. It sounds silly but adds to the evidence of them being bots and not just multiboxers.

I reckon blizzard disconnects them if they have enough evidence because they only ban in waves so they can gather enough data to break the programs too

I have see 0 bots since i play.

That is total bs and when you said that .

Pretty sure rest of your thread is bs.

What a bunch of lies you are posting here.

We have “bots farming herbs in Nazjatar” thread every week
Blizz dont care about botting or multiboxing… They just get their 5-8 sub money.

In what way is it dead? I am able to sell 20-50k (in proffit) worth of consumables average a day. With dead economy that should not be happening.

You don’t need to cleanse gold if there’s wasn’t real money involved.

Also the bot goes:

Wanna see some bots? Go to grim batol dungeon enterance and wait a few mins.

I could take you to Nazjatar on my realm and show you these multibox-bot teams of druids that run the same waypoint over and over again, you cant honestly have missed these druid-teams gathering and flying in a botlike stuttery way all over Nazjatar.

OP isnt posting lies, he is stating the reality right now.
