your correct, they cant Just do anything. for example, if they posted your details online, Unknowingly without it in the EULA Gave away details about you, Or took away ur Rights From accessing their servers For No reason u can prolly do something.
however as far as i can tell from ALOT Of multiboxers reactions, Most Auto-assume Multiboxers are Botting automatically without proof. and the ones who do get banned.
they do it in waves to stop botters creating new formulas faster then can be tracked. but banning em all in one go, it will keep a Larger group off the game While they find a new formula… but this is exactly whjats happening
blizzard Bans a Formula and mass Bans
botters create a New formula and get back in.
blizzard cant win, because they wont stop creating the formula… u cannot simply just win v bots without a SERIOUS investmnet into their removal.#
every game, that Has people trying to bot it… are on endless loops against botting. u cant win against Limitless Script writers continously pushing new bot coding every day… you will never win against that sorta thing. u’d legit need Patrolling GMs in Every zone to Insta ban botters… which would would require a MASS Recruitment of people to sit in a game starring at a map.
its not controllable, and WOW Vanilla Suffered them just as much…
hence why they took the steps they did in retail… we no longer have botting in retail cause they changed the game in ways to prevent the worth of using them. multiboxers we still hjave though they’re still Farming mases of nodes… they just arent botting lol
While I agree with most that you wrote I think you’ll find that Hunter is the bot class of choice due to how simple it is to bot and the sustainability of the class with a pet. If you go to Azshara you’ll find a ton of hunters botting there.
if bot is opposing faction just stand next to him, he will attack you. then drag it over to other mobs and it will keep on attacking you and eventualy die to the mobs.
doesn’t work in low areas like the barrens were all the fishbots are.
Blizzard is doing nothing, they do ban waves every few months it’s not enough.
I’m sure a lot of people that get paid like st in sh*y countries would be glad to be paid to handle reports and check in game bots. It’s just Blizzard that don’t want to invest in it and classic is just another cash cow they don’t care about.
They know the bots, they allow the bots, they let them tamper with the economy and then they ban a small fraction in banwaves to pretend like they do something.
Why, because they would rather have the bots subscriptions and try and push classic players to play retail where they will be ENCOURAGED to purchase micro transactions, a core revenue base for blizzard now.
Literally this. This is Activision. They literally only care about money. WoW should be a free-to-play game with the amount of bots that exist and the amount of non-existing help/communication from GMs/Devs.
Why did they fire a bunch of people working at Customer Support? Because they benefited from it:
*Fewer paycheck to hand out
*Customer Support isn’t needed when you can just have automated responses to every single ticket created
*No reason to spend money on something they don’t care about
