Bots many of them

That could make it much more difficult
Then make Flowers and mining notes spawn in random places and not in the same place every time.
Totally random places, so they’ll have a hard time
…

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UoiQuvE3Pqk will tell u eugh how many bots there are classic rampant ye dont tink token this point cen fix problem doom

I have mass reported bots, adverstisers, spammers and soon as I do a relog or anything they return… Its gotten to the point I have left many trade channels due to it…
Im doing Blizzard work and paying a monthly sub… Might as well go to a restaurant, order me food, go to supermarket - buy me food, prepare it, cook it and pay the chef for doing nothing… Its a joke…

So many armchair experts here… If you are all so good at this why dont you post your amazing ideas? You would probably get hired instantly by any number of software companies and paid a fortune for your ground breaking suggestions.
Blizz have already explained what happens with bots, banwaves and that they keep coming back.
They do banwaves because it hurts the people that sell the bots more than instantly banning one bot.
Its like trying to get rid of drug cartels by locking up one drug user at a time… it doesnt work.
Jesus why is it so hard for people to understand?

pretty sure they dont ban the actual battlenet account, just the wow id.

which means a bot can literally replicate itself over and over via wow tokens?

it has ruined a big part of the game for me that this isnt fixed.

It’s not, cheating (mirroring commands) is against the rules (and good luck multiboxing in a competitive environment without it), but don’t try to put all multiboxers under the same umbrella.

Whilst it is useful for players to report things they see, you are under no obligation to report. No one is making you do it. It’s not meant to be an unpaid job. Although I will report most things, they are not that frequent that it disrupts my gameplay. I know for every scumbag advertiser that gets removed from newcomer chat a new account will pop up and advertise. It is relentless and the same is true of all cheating in the game. As soon as they are banned, they start over.

I did get to a point last expansion with all the boost selling spam in the group finder that it just became a pointless exercise. It was too time consuming. I’m not paid to do this, I’m here to play the game, so I feel you.

Judging by the number of players complaining about being banned on reddit and the forums, in the recent weeks, I presume a big ban wave recently went out.

Thanking you! Its annoying because, if someone comes from a F2P game and see how many people botting, selling, advertising etc and they come to WoW for the first time and see this here. It may swade them away all together…
It would be awesum if they introduced a system where they have to do something and it will eventually allow them to chat etc, but that would only work for the trade channels… Unless they close the channels and make new 1s but have like a - passworded ones…
Rift has a system - where when you logged in, every so often it would lock your currency until you have cleared it through a process, very cleaver idea…

Well just have GM patrol a area and make a If cant make profit they cant be there that many. Also drop the TOS we are not allowed to name them.
And all i can do say sorry do botts i dont take druids and dracotyr to a key.
Is fair no but to these classes get a name off u know wat i dont want u in my keys ether go bot ur a bot class not GG bye

Yes it unfair but if wuod do this on masss maybe blizzard will do sumthing

Before the patch went live there were lots of Evoker herbing bots around in the plains, span and shores herbing frost herbs. Have not seen them since the patch though.
But, if you are seeing them, maybe they are botting on the caverns. I imagine that spores are more profitable than awakened frost now.

if u want bots go classic wart full them bg season of mastery full bots
