I have seen no bots farming leather anywhere
on Gandling we have hell lot of bots farming Stratholme, yesterday I went to shimmering flats to get some venom sacks, guess what, 75% of players I met were bots. Same stuff in Azshara

We have a lot herb alts in our guild and tracking time as well.
And we also using hunter to scout with eagle eyes (1 min max) and all places are scouted.
But this way. Hmm having 3 account, + few other guildies and just log on at their spawn timer.
If some whispered me I wouldnât reply either.
I think we have some who coordinate this. Rather than bots.

Theres horde bots 24/7. Yeticave, feralas hippogryphs, azshara nordeast coast al have 2-3 bots.

How do you know they are boys and not rerolls? Logging on and off every hour is also something players can do.
A black lotus does not always spawn at the same place though. Or does something always spawn at a maybe-black-lotus-node, and the bots would collect it whatever it is?
But then you would have to be certain you collected the black lotus in your sweep: the repop cooldown only starts when the plant is picked up, so the repop time might slowly drift off if you miss it once. Not that a black lotus would stay up long in any case, but that can make the difference between picking and not picking. I donât know, it doesnât sound that simple.

Yes. What Iâm saying is that âlog on, collect target, log off, repeat after X minutesâ sounds too simple of a script to reliably collect black lotuses. No more, no less.

I have some information, this may be very shocking to you OP.
They do not belong to you so they canât be stealing them.
Obviously bots will be picking lotus itâs not going to be hard for them as they have a respawn timer and very limited locations on spawns so it suits a bot nicely once they know the spawn timer as even if they get out picked they will always have a general idea of when itâs going to spawn as a Lotus will be instant picked as soon as it spawns on most servers.
But you are also competiting with try hard guilds that will have players in the guild camping every single lotus spawn all over Azeroth these are the type of guilds that always have at least 1 person scouting world bosses even at 4 AM and if one of them spawn then an entire 40 man raid will log at that time to kill them. You canât really compete with players like this or with bots.
I suggest if you want lotus to just farm something else and buy them if your guild is serious then the guild bank should be able to afford lotus as and when they need them but realistically they should have been buying up all lotus from the past few months and stockpiling them.
