Botting has overtaken wow classic herb / mining!!
I saw a bot today and i typed him!
i couldt find any black lotus for a LOOOOONG time and this is why:
They have like 20 bots placed on the black lotus spawn spot. they can track the time so they log in and out when its about to spawn. Thats why its imposible to find any black lotus!
BOTS HAS TAKEN OVER!
Pls ban them so legit farmers as me can start find herbs and ores!
It them or me leaving wow classic…! your choice blizzard!

I wish Blizzard would be more proactive about stopping bots. Its really annoying seeing bots in PVP or farming mats and nothing being done about it.
Permaban the lot of them Blizz.

Don’t worry, blizzard will give them a 6 month suspension some time after their summer. As we all know, those ban wave are much more effective than letting players seeing results.
Pretty much, a bot will pay for itself with only picking one black lotus a month.
Blizzard would have put an end to bots, however Activision Blizzard wont. 20 accounts is 20 accounts paying a sub.
You can’t buy tokens in Classic. You would have to sell the gold.
Good thing gold selling did not occur before the wow token.

Yes, because a botter clearly wouldn’t want to break the ToS, that would just be unethical.

Even back in the day Blizz didn’t ban bots. They did ban TotalBiscuit for reporting on it though.
Not that I’m not against bots, I’m just not bot-savvy. And courious. I thought bots were automated.
If they log in and pick and then out again, how can they then be bots?
What part of automated and logging-in and out clashes in your mind?
As I said missing knowledge. Can you really make a program that logs in at timed intervals, targets the flower and picks it? For me it sounds like slave lobour, but of the human kind

Oh Boi, ‘hello world’, yes that’s pretty easy. Logging in and out out with a timer to interact with pre-determined node location that always spawns in the same place is the least complicated of any script you’d make.
During the early weeks it was also very profitable to set one up near rare recipe sellers, free money.

I have literally never even seen black lotus out in the wolrd. Ever.
I have also managed to find only a couple Mountain Silversage nodes too. Two.
Mountain silversage has exceeded 2 gold per 1 piece on my server.
Two gold. For. One. Plant.
Which we could grow our own supply… if ye knowhat I mean 
on dreamist i just started farming leather for darkmoon faire yesterday at the yeti cave in wintersrping…3 troll bot just running around killing everything…i killed them like 120 times and have reported them but today i go back nothing but their paths has changed…all 3 still killing yetis…how am i meant ot gather leather with bots constanly killing the mobs??..blizz get of your arses and sort it out!!!
1 is delfina level 60 troll hunter kills lots and skins…
2 is looted 58 troll hunter just kills mobs and moves on i suspect leveling the toon an only intrested in the xp
3 is some random letters does same kills yetis loots moves on…
