Botting situation

Hey!

I have now for the last 4 months been farming in Felwood and so far got around 8 botts banned for herbing, mining and farming the felcloth/ essences.

When the bots get banned i allways get a “thank you” letter from some dev. What i would like to have is like an update on the forum of the actions blizz take against botters/ hackers and what so ever.

Mostly so people can see that YOU do care about wow and the community. I hear so many people complain about blizzard is not even on the servers and they do not care. Please blizzard, show signs for the people. :slight_smile:

Blizzard sends an automatic message when you report Bots, this does not mean that it has banned the target of your report.

don’t only report bots out in the wild but also those pesky AH-bots, thank you

Eh they used to do this like this one:

But the forum went rabid against them accusing them of “making up numbers” and other unfunny insults as usual so they stopped. Personally, I think this is but the top of the ice berg as there are really a lot of bots out there and they keep returning to the same areas after getting ban(waved).

They send a message when they have taken action against someone you reported. They don’t send a message on every report. I have made hundreds of reports and received maybe 20 mails

The real question is, what are you doing in Felwood for the last 4 month’s :rofl::rofl:

Bots EVERYWHERE, literally. Never seen it worse than this and thats even with GDKP banned
