Well this might come in handy at some point… Sadly, I’m but a member at this moment. Thank you!
Thank you!!
I am vindicated.
Can’t wait for all the gungho e-activists from my thread show up here so I can use this feature

Oh sweet in ten characters.
it only lasts 4 months at the longest. They have it set to have an expiry date.
So we can just easily slap on the ignore to the OOCers and Trolls? Rejoice!
The only question is where the button is. I…can’t find it on the website, I don’t think.
Nevermind! You have to go to their activity section!
you have to go to there profile and it’s top right corner.
Franly that’s fine, if after four months the person is still posting and hasn’t changed their attitude/schtick then you can reignore them again.
My main issue is that it doesn’t filter alts (yet) so we can’t easily alt-track or have the person slapped on the ignore list on all their characters with only ignoring one.
Why would you need that? If they were to post on an alt you’d just ignore the alt either way, I’d like to think.
Given how they turned each character in to basically a separate profile, not sure they can set it up to do that without a lot of work.
edit: you can’t ignore people if they have there profile set to hidden.
Thank you for sharing!
I also noticed now when I looked at it, that the ignore is however not permament, so just a heads up for people You can set it to a maximum of two-months(or as short as one day) before it expires and the person becomes un-ignored.
Edit:
I didnt see this before sorry! I could only set it to two months
It probably works on the forums though, though I rarely frequent them, where it’s your battle.net tag being the posting profile instead.
Change the browser scale (Ctrl+mouse wheel), the 4month option is just cut off by the default browser size.
Thank you!
Awsome feature. If only hidden profiles from trollers could be ignore as well.
I full heartedly agree.
Yeah, bit weird how they’ve set it up. But well it’s only one tool in the arsenal we still have the CSS ignore.
