Yeah mentioned it before. You can set it in your profile page. it’s under: Prefrences → Interface → and it’s a tick box.

Probably an oversight, if I had to make a guess the hidden tag also hides this ignore feature on the page because it is a part of that page

No not really. I set it up like this quite a while ago after feeling uncomfortable with some people checking & harassing me, specifically to avoid situations with people like yourself. So thank you for proving my point!

I do think hide profile should be allowed, but at the same time the ignore function should also work even against hidden profiles. A certain goldshirian alt would be muted pretty fast.
