I mean it’s hard to argue that Classic really did save WoW
What difference it makes to you if WoW subs are 7ppl, 7mil or 7bn?
It would have a bigger longer dip presumably and then come back up for Shadowlands before the next dip.
We know that Chinese subscriptions were counted when Blizzard used to report these numbers up until WoD. On the right hand side graph, there isn’t any drop during 2023 that would depict the loss that would come with the shutdown of the Chinese servers. I can’t see how these estimations have any basis to be honest.
