BREAKING NEWS: WoW current subscriber numbers leaked and exposed at GDC event

DAmn, homie is stocked up lord all mighty he got the library, call him a book worm with one this big holy moly

I’m actually temped to buy one of those mini pcs and make myself a proper rom computer.

My brother-in-law is a beast when it comes to creating/making things, so he could make me something to put in a monitor and a arcade joystick

Man we gotta watch this guy, give hime a few decades he will be his pc, and we’re gonna have to say hey jarvan to talk to him eyo

Well Elon has made that Neurolink thing, so you never know!

You ever wish to experience sword art online but with wow, god I can’t tell if I love that idea or hate it. Some days I would love nothing more, and some days I’m like ehh would be cool but meh

gw2 was so good, i might revisit it…
only ever played the base game

I tried the VRMMO, Zenith when it was released. I bought it for my Index and it was just terrible xD

VR MMOs are very long way off from what people would like them to be.

Never got to play it really, been a little wow baby since I was 7 and have been apart and love the lore ever since, even if I didnt play at the time cause I wasn’t able to get the money together for a subscription I still followed the story religiously

Gw2 is a fun MMO and it’s F2P up until a point, when you’d need to buy the expansion. It’s well worth the visit.

The same for SWTOR, which I really enjoyed and revisited from time to time.

Tried it along with lotro, gotta say I really liked lotro more, but that’s cause I like more medieval fantasy instead of scifi although I still have the “Lightsaber go BRRRRR” mentality gifted to all who have seen the light of those blades

Oh god yes I remember LOTRO when that was released. Played that for maybe a month with an ex.

But no MMO will ever compare to the god of MMOs, which was Dark Age of Camelot!

It’s actually really good, I play it on and off, I think the lvling is the best lvling I’ve ever experienced

Ahhh lost me there, heard leagends but I’m far too young to have experienced it

DAoC!

3 Factions: Albion, Hiberian, Midgard - Realm vs Realms fights in dedicated zones. Large world, castle fights, seige weapons, battlegrounds etc etc.

Also crafting, which was funny when upgrading, you had a chance to fail and the gear would be destroyed and the crafted would be killed from the explosion xD

Was so much fun.

I remember when they got hacked as well. Some idiot employee was logging into their dev account in an Internet Cafe, someone found out, put a keylogger on that computer and then logged in and spawned dragons and giants infront of the teleport keeps (the place you spawned into when entering the RvR zones).

They shut down the game for a week to find out what happened xD

Oh my lord that seems, incredibly awesome. Was it prodominantly pvp or pve?

It’s was pretty much PvE up until you got to max level, then you had quests which would take you through the RvR zones and into the enemy areas to collect things etc.

But the scale of the fights were awesome.

It what started the Alarm Clock raids xD

Not as wild as you think. Shadowlands was doing really badly and it’s fair to say that most of the 4 million that they saw in increased subs came back for Burning Crusade. Since the graph shows around 4 mil. I assume most of those are people returning for BC and wrath. Which makes sense since they were really popular.
