As it works now you can follow a character without being in a party. As a boxer myself I think multi gathering shouldn’t be a thing.
Simple solution?
Make /follow only work in a party. Allow only the leader to gather herbs/ores (I doubt people other than boxers group up for herbing and mining sessions)
You can keep multiboxing and have all realms locked for you.
Go back to Private Servers and farm your Multiboxing in Peace you whining defending Multiboxer feeling mercy for you types. Boxer.

I think that the sentiment refers to abuse rather than use. I used to drink three cups of coffee every morning but now I only drink one or two.
What would multiboxers get feom beign on server separated with only multiboxers.
The whole joy of multiboxing for them is abusing ppl that dont multibox…beign either farming, AH, world pvp etc etc…

There is more to multiboxing than annoying people or generating gold.
It’s a way to play the game as a single player that controls multiple characters, this can be seen in other games such as baldurs gate or icewind dale

The existence for twinks is more beneficial than it is harmful, while Multiboxing is purely negative and has no benefits whatsoever.

Multi-botters completely destroy farming/selling wares for honest farmers trying to make a living. Why should I have to basically pay for stuff I can farm because multi-botters wreck the prices of goods by sheer volume of numbers?
Don’t care for the intricate why’s and wherefore’s of the pro-arguments; seen way too many nodes disappear one after the other because of gangs of botting druids roaming the landscape.

multiboxing is not botting. multiboxers on a seperate server for multiboxers wont be stealing your herbs.
multiboxing is not against the rules, so until that happens, your interests would be better served by sending multiboxers to a server that you don’t use.

Like multi-boxers have NEVER used bots before?
You can multibox without using botting software and you can use botting software without multiboxing.
Speaking for myself and what I have been able to read on mulitboxing forums for others, the use of bot software is not considered as attributable to multiboxing and is a sure way to get banned, which is something that multiboxers in particular have an interest in avoiding.
As in life perhaps: the minority that abuse the system and basically cheat and ruin it for the rest.
I do not believe for one single minute that every multi-boxer plays by the rules, doesn’t respond to whispers because they’re busy or that the characters glitch because of some in-game inadequacy. There’s far too much gold/money to be made by perverting the rules and some people are just too easily tempted
I tend to think that combining botting with multiboxing is the wrong way to make gold, multiboxing is a good way to draw attention to yourself and have people checking you and messing with you in various ways, which I imagine you would want to avoid and keep a low profile when doing dirty deeds for profit.
Simplest solution to save us all the bother is to make farming nodes like in FFIXV: your nodes are in your own ‘mini-real’ and no-one else can touch them, plus there are only four nodes in the vicinity. At least that way you negate the ‘disappearing’ nodes problem (maybe not entirely attributable to bands of roaming druids but happens suspiciously often when they are around - ever been to Stabbing Wastes? lol) and everyone can happily farm honestly and to their hearts content 
Multibotting ban was a great change for the game.
