I get that Calia doesnât really into the Forsaken race fantasy, especially with her optics and I understand why people take issue with it.
Still, Iâm curious how (and when) they will address the elephant in the room who has been wielding Chekhovâs gun for quite some time now:
Thereâs still the problem of the Forsaken decaying and rotting away.
We still have an Undead who was conserved by the Light, thereby holding an obvious solution to the issue.
Oh for the love of everything holy, please no. I donât want to fight him a billion times until he screams enough and runs away like the little coward he is!
With this sort of generalization you can call all the WoW universe stupid and just stop playing this game.
Nathanos was Sylvanasâes sub henchman, who had no opinion or vision of his own, blindly followed all of her orders without questioning them. This dude purposefully led Hordeâs fleet with 2 of its leaders and the strongest horde champions into a death trap and it was a luck that they didnât all die.
And you see this guy fit to rule a faction? Are you serious?
As I told you on the german forums before the Forsaken stopped being humans years ago. There was never any need to humanize them back to normal people. NO one asked for this ever. So removing Calia from the plot is the way to go in the future.
which is iconis, sice sylvans wasnt better, she was a perfectly conservative elven body with little clothing, even beautifully belly-free.
The complete opposite of the rotting Forsaken
The complete argument that she doesnât look like a forskane is stripped of any validity if you put sylvanas next to it
So, youn dont want the Forskane Humaize but still antagonized- which is the oposite what people acutaly want.
And tbh, teh fdorsaken had no rela identy beside âwree evil and undead, and simp sylvans and foler her personal cultâ
Thehy had basicly the sama chakter deppe as walking dead zomibes
Oh that Cinematic was pure cringe, First we see what a good boytoy Nathanos as Sylvanas raises his chin and gives him her bow to carry it for her like a slave servant. Then she faces Alleria, Jaina, Anduin and Green, realistically she is no match to their combine strength, but thankfully she has a huge plot armor surrounding her and so she casually walks and talks playfully.
To me it felt like Steve Danuser put his erotic fetish fantasies into the wow cinematic. Disgusting.
It wasnât that bad and could have worked in my opinion, if they had done a better job in the preparation of the event. When the Horde marched on Teldrassil, we played that. We went through Ashenvale and fought the Night Elves (And no, Iâm not talking about the poison master of Astranaar being killed by⌠poison), but witnessed the Hordeâs arrival at Darkshore.
In the battle for Undercity, we just spawned on the edge of Tirisfal and already found a lane of burned land and destruction before us. Then the Alliance was shocked to see the Forsaken use the plague, because they didnât have a single countermeasure prepared! I mean⌠nobody expected that, especially not Genn!
The final nail in the coffin was Jainaâs deus-ex-machina, when she decided that it was easier the keep a ship floating in the air and shoot arcane canonballs, when there was⌠a perfectly quiet lake right ON THE OTHER SIDE of the city.
Imho, the whole scenario was way to much âstyle over substanceâ, it didnât make sense and created problematic precedent cases for future battles when people will ask: âWhy doesnât she do / use that spell / tool again? It would be very helpful right now!â (#Vindicaar)
Aye, âstyle over substanceâ, I agree to this conclusion.
Either the people in charge were dumb or they thought their playebase to be dumb enough not to ask question about inconsistencies.
The most ludicrous issue was Alliance totally not expecting the blight after Sylvanas using it for 10 + years.
I wish they bringed him back, there was so much charisma in that charachter eventhough obviously he was never supposed to be good guy, stories need this kind of people too.The whole forsaken arc is all about nuancity and he fitted so well in there and sylvanas as leader.
I personally like Voss but she isnt leadership type and doesnt really understand what is to be forsaken she wasnt there from the start. And Calia is alliance puppet it literally is slap on the face anyone who is a fan of the forsaken and understand what it is to have her in there
And typcial horde headcaon, heck even freaking blizzard adressed that issue at the middle (end?) of Sl with the cleaning of undercity, ther was even a extra dioalog which adress it in which she even stated she isnt an alliance puppet and do everthing for her people.
It the typcial ignore facts by horde Players because they dont like it (or donst fit in theri narretiv)
If you ignore fact or alter them thenn you have no right to be here, since your ignore offical warcraft lore.
Itâs Blizzardâs game and Blizzardâs story. We can only consume and sometimes voice what we want, but letâs be real here, Blizzard only listens to Blizzard unless thereâs a lawsuit or a bad new article.
We wouldnât have a game if they took out the Alliance completely. I love the Horde and orgrimmar. I really do.
Still, your blind loyalty to Nathanos is a bit troubling. He wasnât that great of a character and all he did was kiss up to Sylvanas. He had none of his own back bone or character. He just followed whatever she said to the letter. What is really unique about him? Does he even have his own personality?
