We simply don’t have enough snarky and rude characters.
Also lol the customer is always right If they hate the product they should be able to demand Changes.

I kind of expected there would be an personal ad hominem attack here when having differianting opinion that isnt same as the mob’s. Im starting to think people are here just stirr up problems cause their lives are boring
Not everyone hates the product though and I’d never heard so many people practically rejoice when Tyrande axed him because he was insufferable. How many times did we need to fight him until he screamed “enough” and ran away like a little coward.
And he wasn’t even funny snarky. He was just pompous snarky which makes his face extremely punchable.
Well i have differing opinion about it, i personally like snarky charachters like that they add more colour to the story and its understandable why he is so hateable, he is an enemy of the alliance and he did cause major losses to em. So its only natural that people hate him so much
Better then NPCs who praise the ground we walk on. I hate bootlickers.
Blizzard removed everyone who ever wronged the alliacne by now the edgy alliance fans usually get their way that is how entitled they are.
Atleast with people like Nathanos you knew where you stand compared to the usual “praise the champion” kind of people
I hope Sylvanas finds him. He was a gigachad by the book. And only alliance players hate him so their opinions shouldn’t matter.
I mained a Horde character for a long time before I moved to Alliance to avoid a certain crowd of players. I’m a Horde lover through and through, and I still thought Nathanos was a simp and bootlicker of Sylvanas.
I love snarky characters, but his snark wasn’t funny in the slightest. I love sick burns and love to get what I dish out, but Nathanos was the same flavor of snark everytime.
I take him over Calia and Voss any day.
I love Voss though. She’s so snarky and has been a rebel compared to the rest of the Forsaken. I love it when she tells the necromancer to get wrecked and sneaks into places to sabotage them from within.
What’s wrong with Voss? I adore her.
My story is kind of opposite ive always played both sides but i try to stay away more from alliance side cause of certain kind of people. I grew more and more to symphatise with horde and specially forsaken as time went by
I can see why people dont like voss and the reason kind of is that she is bit soft. She wasnt there from start and she doesnt understand the hard choices and balancing between what you have to do and what you should do that forsaken had to deal from start
Growing up I never got to play WoW because my parents balked at the $15 a month subscription, so they steered me to a point and click MMO like RuneScape.
I vicariously lived a WoW existence through the old WoW parodies like Hard like Heroic by Nyhm, Oxhorn’s Inventing Swear Words, etc. until I was old enough to afford my own.
Unfortunately my friends were already established as Alliance and I always wanted to play Blood Elf. They helped me unlock Void Elves during BFA. But it wasn’t the same. When they stopped playing, I immediately switched to Horde and was happy there until Dragonflight when certain “friends” turned on me cause I wouldn’t let them dictate who my friends were when I hung out outside the Auction House hanging out with people and throwing toys at each other. For real, they lost their minds cause I threw a toy.
So I begrudgingly made an Alliance character for peace, but those people switched to Alliance this expansion so I’m back home in Horde a lot.
I didnt have pc when i was a kid, i just got into wow at end of legion when i was much older. And i have been just fascinated with the old lore and even some of the new ever since.
And mostly how i play this is that i keep running old expansions and collecting stuff and focusing on the lore and themes. Also occasionally leveling classic wow. And more and more i saw the story from both sides i started to respect horde and its charachters more and obviously the mentioned forsaken.
I have had long breaks though shadowlands was one of those expansions and truthfully i didnt like dragonflight at all either.
Also the another reason straying more away from alliance was kind of the toxicity how the lore was handed by the fans, ofc not all are that way but loudest ones are. I understand that people can get heated about what they are passioned about but have to remember not to go too far
For real, I love both sides of the storyline, but Horde always felt more like home to me. I used to really adore Sylvanas as a character as someone who went through hell and drug herself up as a “look what you made me do,” character. I got chills when she became Warchief.
Then she burnt down the Tree, turned a character into a Forsaken and didn’t let him choose his own path, betrayed the Horde, became a simp to The Jailer, cursed Anduin with the Mournblades that had once destroyed her, and just overall turned into someone I didn’t recognize.
But I’m still Horde through and through for the most part. Though I am also enjoying the slowly built relationships between the two factions. Especially when they snark together.
Voss isn’t snarky. She is stoic and passive like most characters these days.
It never sit right with me the whole teldrassil burning it felt personally an charachter assassination. Sure past sylvanas had her mean streak and agressive methods but she wasnt the monster they made her to seem, it truly felt like charachter assassination at that point
Amen to that. But what really did it for me is doing to Anduin what was done to her. Why would she curse someone else, someone loyal and full of light as she once was, and drag them down to her misery? The very misery she’s haunted by.
That was too much for me. She stooped down to Arthas’ level. She was supposed to be better, to stand up for those who became tormented by the mournblade’s legacy like the Forsaken.
Remember gilneas? She actually gave the worgen a Chance to leave.
