Im not sure you understood what I ment with that part. While I do agree that it can be chill regardless if you are solo or with a party, but alot of ppl tend to not feel its chill / casual when they face premades x)
Atleast it would been an interesting thing to see how it would affect certain situations.
Yea. Im abit scared. Since I want it to be cross-faction to get rid of alot of those sync premades. But the wording can mean any of those 2 options.
We all want what is ideal for ourselves so theres nothing wrong with that x)
If its better for the game long term for the majority⌠then I can be up for most changes.
itâs still clearly unfair so blizz changes just made things worse. I see people with 2700 mmr matched with people with 2k mmr or less and 1600-1700 cr and these low rated players do nearly nothing
I wonder why? you lot complained about MW mobility and nerfed them also affecting their normal battleground modes completely and wanted fairer matches, blizzard implemented them somewhat and you lot still complain because the MMR is âmessedâ up Nah mate, continue doing what youâre doing and see what happens next.
I wonder whatâs the next topic of complaints will be.
if youâre 2100 rating and playing at 2100 MMR and someone at 1400 rating joins you at 2100 MMR, thats working as intended.
take some gaffer tape and press it over the place on your UI where current rating is shown, because it means absolutely nothing outside of rewards. if youâre at 2100 MMR youâre a 2100 player. if you lose to the other 2100 MMR players, you lost to the other 2100 MMR players. current rating means absolutely nothing if game fairness is what matters.
This is going in circle.for way to long, your skills matches with mmr/cr simple as that.
My main is on 3.1mmr my alt is in 2kmmr and my 3rd alt is on 1.7mmr cuz im low bad with it.
People thinking they are pvp gods in wrong mmr
Wrong. Current rating is ALL that matters in term of skill, and itâs statistically verifiable. MMR means TRASH, almost meme numbers.
If you play at 2.2k mmr and your team is all 2.1k-2.2k CR, and the enemy is 1.6k-1.8k CR, SAME MMR, you win always by default, donât even try to deny it. Because the mmr gains are so stupid, if a trashcan green gear player at 1500 mmr wins 3 games in a row against other 1500 - 1700 mmr players, he suddenly gets to 2.2k mmr. But he doesnât belong there in any shape or form. The CR means you actually grinded the games to get there and deserve the rating, and are 99% much better in every way.
they are having players with wider range in the same lobby and it pretty much annoys me. ive done 11 games so far, won all of them. my start groups mmr first game was 1.7 and after the 11 win (100% winrate so far) i ended up at 1.8 group mmr even my personal is 2.3-2.4âŚ
if i will lose 1 game, cause some random mess up by any of my mates will completly destroy my mmv instantly(which will happen by a high cahnce on lower mmr lobbies) where i have low impact on that. becasue everyone else in my grp is so low mmv. if id would just get matched with even mmv players id be glad
It´s literally the exact same flipflop every time, but people are resistant to learning.
âWe want fairer matchmakingâ ⌠Matchmaking quality gets improved, ELO /MR Restrictions and Brackets tightened, = queue times go up
âWe want shorter queue timesâ Matchmaking restrictions get loosened, queue tiomes go down, lopsided matches and roflstomps happen more often.
Rinse and repeat every few months. At this point if I were blizzard I would just have a switch labeled âcomplaints about matchmaking /complaints about queue timesâ and just flip it every 3-4 months regardless of whether people are complaining or not because it doesn´t matter, anyway.
you donât understand blitz. To reach 2400 with 60% WR I had 106 matches, which is super fast. Usually people do it 150-200 games.
150 games with 10min queue + 20min game = 75hours.
If you take a calculation that realistically you can play only 3 games per 2hours, thatâs 100hours on one character. 33 hours in queue for a healer.
Thereâs no way a sane person playing Solo Healer would wait 33hours in queue for a terrible experience anyway.
33 hours - is the time I spent 1-60 on Hardcore Era classic, leveled in Wrath and cleared LichKing. And now I have to spent it just sitting in a queue.
Are you sure you understood my post /quoted the right person before summarily denouncing my knowledge of a gamemode?
Because absolutely nothing of what I said has anything to do with any rating, bracket, score, or time to reach goal X, nor does any of that bear any relevance to anything I said or change anything about it.
The fact of the matter is that the matchmaker is, always, since the beginning of Blitz, either too slow, or too unfair, depending on whoi and when you ask. And every time it´s changed to accomodate one complaint, no matter how miniscule that change actually was, the other complaint immediaty comes back in full force⌠to the point where, from an unbiased outside perspective, it would be an interesting experiment to see if they just say they made a change but didn´t actually change anything, if the complaint would still flip despite no objective change to the system having been made.
The BluePost was (and why people were happy) - changes that will NOT affect the queue. I said nice, no more 4BM hunters in one team. Then I logged in and the very first game in the patch my queue was 25mins, before the patch - 3 mins.
So at the very least my rage became because of them straight up lying and never giving an update afterwards. It became better today, usually less than 10mins, not 25. But still it was a blatant lie.
